The CIA knew Tucker was speaking to the Iranian regime. That means that when Trump invited Tucker to the Oval Office multiple times in the lead up to the Iran strike, he knew full well that Tucker was backchanneling information to the Iranians. Essentially Trump seems to have used Tucker as an unwitting counter-intel asset, to convince Khamenei that he was bluffing, that nothing would happen. Trump was basically able to kill Khamenei thanks to Tucker's arrogance. Now Tucker's also legally fucked.

I think everyone is missing the point…Is it Ok for the CIA or FBI or any US Government Agencies to look at a person’s private Text messages, Emails and/or telephone conversations and then leak those conversations to a media outlet. Also can the US government then use the information they gain by the invasion of a person privacy and use that personal information to refer criminal charges of any type against that person? I think that is illegal.
