@DefiantLs Violence and shootings are up in 2026 for the same reason violence and shootings were up in 1926. Alcohol prohibition then, drug prohibition now. However you feel about it, that is a fact.

@X0bai @The_JBS They don't have the authority to violate the Constitution. The Constitution makes it the responsibility of Congress. They don't exercise any oversight over the Fed, therefore they are abrogating their responsibility.

@The_JBS I’m not saying that the dollar isn’t a fiat currency and will inevitably collapse and we’ll all be worse off for it. I’m just saying that Congress has the authority to delegate their responsibilities, and they have done so in the case of the Fed.

@NotTheirScript All of the institutions needed for a socialist government already exist in Washington DC. Socialism couldn't be imposed on us if our government was the size it is supposed to be. That Republicans aren't getting rid of the parasitic agencies shows how unserious they are.

MEET ASHIK SIDDIQUE. He is the national co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, and he wants to abolish the United States Senate. Siddique has never accomplished anything that would justify placing him above the constitutional system he wants to dismantle. Yet socialism has given him the confidence to believe the problem is not his lack of experience. The problem is the structure of the country itself. Abolishing the Senate would erase equal representation for every state. California could dominate Wyoming. New York could overpower Nebraska. Political control would shift toward a handful of densely populated metropolitan areas, while smaller and rural states would lose one of their principal protections in the federal government. It would also eliminate the chamber responsible for confirming federal judges and Cabinet officials, approving treaties, conducting impeachment trials, and slowing legislation before temporary political majorities can force it through. And that is the real objective. The Senate frustrates radical movements because it prevents a narrow ideological majority concentrated in major cities from immediately transforming the entire country. Socialists call that undemocratic because they do not merely want representation. They want fewer obstacles between themselves and power. Siddique says the Senate was built for wealthy landowners. His solution is to destroy one of the central checks in the Constitution and dramatically expand the House instead. DSA has repeatedly promoted abolishing or weakening institutions that restrain raw majority power, including the Senate, Electoral College, and Supreme Court. This is why socialism should never be treated as a harmless demand for cheaper healthcare or higher wages. Its leaders are openly telling you they want to redesign the government, remove constitutional guardrails, and concentrate power where their movement believes it can win. Like many of the leader in the @DemSocialists, Ashik Siddique has built remarkably little. But he is ready to demolish quite a lot.

🚨 Smithsonian Teaches ACTIVISM, Not History Chris Rufo: "It's absolutely been captured and subverted. These elite institutions have generated the ideas of critical race theory, gender ideology, and left-wing governance over American history." "Those ideas trickle down into lesson plans for kindergartners and elementary schoolers. This isn't just about what's on display at the Smithsonian—it's about the stories we tell ourselves as a country, who we are, and where we're going."

@IngrahamAngle Our government has been unalterably corrupted at every level. Dismantling everything done since the early 20th century is the only way to save our country. I don't expect this to happen at all. I am sad for future generations of Americans.

@dtp1989 My feeling is that there is way too much about what "we" need to do or not do. I want you to do what is best for you within the very reasonable boundary of what I believe is best for me. If there is a biblical principle underlying the founding of the US, it's Matthew 7:12.

I don't disagree with anything you said, my Brother. Yet so many continue to claim this nation is founded on Christianity, even the church. They love to say our constitution "mentions God", that our money says "in God we trust", and use it as a basis of pledging allegiance to the USA. We should only pledge allegiance to Jesus Christ. This is my entire point.

You guys still think the US was founded as a "Christian" nation? In 1861, the ($20) demand note had "the goddess of Liberty" on it, holding a sword and shield. Now tell me, does this sound like something Jesus Christ would approve of for "a nation founded in Christianity"?

@DoniTheMisfit Our government was founded to have no authority over the lives of individuals. Your religious belief is your own and our government only exists to protect your right to that belief. This nation was blessed by God until Woodrow Wilson, devout Christian, altered that relationship.

The image of Libertas on the 1861 United States Demand Notes did not appear out of nowhere. It was the continuation of a visual and political tradition that stretches back over two thousand years. Libertas was a goddess of the Roman state religion. The Roman Senate established temples in her honor, including the Temple of Libertas on the Aventine Hill around 238 B.C. and they weren't museums or monuments. They were active places of worship where sacrifices were offered, vows were made, and public officials sought her favor. To the Romans, Libertas was the divine guardian of liberty, citizenship, and the Republic itself. Because religion and government were inseparable in Rome, Libertas regularly appeared on official coinage. Her image was a declaration of spiritual and political authority. After the assassination of Julius Caesar in 44 B.C. Marcus Junius Brutus struck coins bearing Libertas to announce that the Republic had been restored. The Roman Republic publicly identified itself with one of its own deities. Centuries later, the United States adopted much of the visual language of the Roman Republic. The 1793 Liberty Cap cent, the 1794–1795 Flowing Hair dollar, the 1795–1804 Draped Bust coins, the 1807 Capped Bust series, and countless other American coins all featured the same female personification of Liberty derived from Libertas. It became one of the defining symbols of the American Republic. By 1861, during the Civil War, the first $20 Demand Note depicted Liberty holding a sword and shield. The imagery had changed in artistic style, but its ancestry remained unmistakably Roman. The United States did not stop there. Lady Liberty continued appearing on American coinage throughout the nineteenth century, including the Seated Liberty, Trade Dollar, Morgan Dollar, Standing Liberty Quarter, Walking Liberty Half Dollar, and numerous commemorative issues. For over two centuries, the Republic repeatedly chose imagery rooted in Rome's civic religion as the face of its money. For those who follow Joshua, this history deserves careful consideration since scripture warns, "You shall have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3) and "You shall not make for yourself a carved image..." (Exodus 20:4–6) Deities like Libertas were not mascots to the Romans. They were worshiped as living divine beings believed to protect the state. The fact that the United States inherited this imagery from the Roman Republic should at least cause followers of the Way to ask why a nation often described as "Christian" repeatedly chooses to use symbols rooted in the religion of pagan Rome.

@newtgingrich @JamesRange98551 Unfortunately, it isn't because of the greatness of Republicans. It's because Democrats suck so very very much. If Republicans simply focused on honoring their oaths of office, they could sweep the Democrats aside with ease.

Something interesting and unpredictable is happening around the country. In blue states Republicans are doing unusually well. In Oregon, according to a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, Republican Christine Drazan leads Governor Tina Kotek 48 percent to 44 percent. In Minnesota Republican senate candidate Michelle Lafoya is tied at 47 with Democratic Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. Hard to believe there is a blue wave coming when states like Minnesota and Oregon are in play. The continued rise of the big government socialist-weird values Democrats seems to be turning off a lot of people even in states that have traditionally been very leftwing.

@JohnRLottJr Prohibitions create criminality where none previously existed. The murder rates in our cities were comparably high in the 1920's, when our government prohibited the drinking of alcohol. Drug prohibition is generating the same dynamic. They're fighting over the insane profits.

If everyone is so convinced that every member of Congress is such a horribly evil person unworthy of the public trust, shouldn't we consider limited government? Perhaps enumerate the specific powers of Congress and retain the rest with the states and people?

@HalleckScott @ChaseForLiberty @RonPaul We had an open border up through the 60's. Migrant workers came and went with the seasonal crops and Norte Americanos came and went for business and entertainment. Then, Democrats began extending "benefits". Then, they passed the Controlled Substances Act, destroying that system.
