@alecjat @TaylorTwellman and we played Colombia/Brazil. Not saying those 2 = France/Netherlands but it was a pre-tournament period time for everyone. Very few windows left between now and 2026 that aren't eaten up with Nations League or WC Qualifiers for anyone worth playing

@MLS_Buzz I may be off base, but I vaguely recall Liga MX wanting to play in the states because of the added revenue. I don’t think MLS team ‘X’ coming to a Mexican stadium has any appeal for them to bring in additional fans.

MLS is one of the hardest leagues in the world to win on the road It's even harder when you're permanently on the road for an entire tournament like Leagues Cup is asking from Liga MX The tournament will continue to have a huge asterisk until games are held in Mexico. Simple.

I’d assume he’s got a slightly higher knowledge base than you on this subject. From what I recall, it wasn’t field size issues but rather had to do with ad placement at the stadium.

According to The NY Times, NYCFC have reached an agreement to build the city’s first professional soccer stadium, the centerpiece of a giant mixed-use development. Play will begin in the stadium in 2027.
