Problem we hit was contractual obligations with existing suppliers. The idea that people will get in early for an extra hour day of slightly cheaper drinks is a fallacy, people like the pubs & environments they are used to too much to change long established habits for that. Has to be a much broader approach that includes lots of initiatives. One was the idea of a Munich style beer tent we recommended (again over 5yrs ago). Utd eventually ran with it recently but missed a real opportunity to create a space that Stretford Enders would use, spit & sawdust, no music, a real atmosphere building environment like you’d see in a beer hall. Instead it predictably saw a cheese DJ, live music & long queues. A place where the vast majority who go on the Stret & want to build an atmosphere avoided like the plague. Needs to be an in depth conversation between groups like ours who understand the mechanics of building an atmosphere & how that’s linked to behaviour such as staying out of the ground until as long as possible

@david_wright67 Hah! Never even heard a sniff about this one. Lets hope it is all correct. The CD is the one to buy. Superb value and a bundle of tracks. Vinyl has had its day unless its a collector keeping it sealed. U aint getting the optimum release or value.

@david_wright67 @santanderuk I was always taught the - is a negative credit, in debt .. I’ve an autistic son and this is confusing for him and others . As for the colour it’s either in black or brown/red I’m colourblind so there’s another one to tackle 😂😂

@paulwellerHQ Biggest error was putting a load of singles on it which most people will already have on vinyl and can source easily at the expense of not including the demo’s, BBC sessions, live gig and rarities available on the CD
