Please sign and share this petition. Naltrexone could be a game changer in cancer treatment but big pharma won't trial it because there's no profit in it for them. NHS won't prescribe it (well my NHS trust won't) as it's not been trialled. I have stage liver cancer - it could prolong my life by up to 18 months. I'll take that! :-) For other cancers it has been known to completely cure them. It could sae thousands of lives!

This may be my first ever post on X. I hope it’s successful!! I have stage 4 liver cancer. 2-3 years life expectancy. There’s a drug out there that could increase that by up to 18 months according to the results a few oncologists have had. It’s also been known to cure others like pancreatic cancer. Problem is that it’s never been clinically trialled. Big pharma aren’t interested cos there’s no money in it for them. My oncologist won’t put me on it as the its not on the health trusts list of approved drugs. Because it’s never been trialled. Catch 22. So I’ve started a parliamentary petition to try and get it debated. It needs 100,000 signatures. Please sign and share it. Im a bit of a dinosaur so I’m not sure if I can get the link on here but I’ll give it a go.

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7295… Please sign and share this petition. I have stage 4 liver and lung cancer. This new drug could prolong my life for up to 18 months. For other cancers it has proven to completely cure them. It could be a lifeline for thousands of other cancer patients. Got to be worth a couple of minutes of your time. Thank you

Batter hit on back of helmet by a fast ball but physio not called on even though he was on his way. Very poor message.

@carltonkirby @LeTour @discoveryplusUK @eurosport Just a comment from a Sheffielder!! Not lived there since 1972 but the loyalty still burns bright. Being built on 7 hills makes us great cyclists and we’re all men ( and women) of steel!! 😂💪🏼

As some of you will have read/seen, we recently regained financial and editorial control of PSN (PlaySportsNetwork) from Warner Bros Discovery, which means some changes for me. I could never have imagined when I joined GCN at its inception in 2012 that we'd go from a small start-up YouTube channel, to multiple channels with many millions of subscribers, billions of views, to starting a successful subscription service that showed the biggest races in the world and a heap of amazing cycling documentaries. GCN’s journey with Eurosport and live racing is something I’ll never forget - we achieved a hell of a lot in a very short time. I think we made some really positive changes for cycling, and I will always be very proud of that. However, it's been a tough 8 months or so for GCN - the shuttering of GCN+, and now the website, has meant we've lost a lot of very talented, hard working colleagues who are incredibly passionate about the sport. The show must go on, though. GCN is still full of amazing people, and more importantly, supported by an incredible community of cyclists. I firmly believe that the next part of our journey will be more exciting than ever - I want to be part of, and instrumental in that next adventure, the next chapter. Unfortunately, that means I will no longer be on The Breakaway or Eurosport’s cycling commentary. It's a part of my job that I will dearly miss, but more than that, I will miss the fantastic group of people (on screen/mic and off) who I had the privilege of working with there for the last few years. I really couldn't have asked for a better team to spend three weeks at a time with. Thanks to all of you who have been so kind in your messages of support for GCN these last few months - it's really meant the world to everyone at the company. As an aside, I know a lot of you have been waiting for the GCN+ documentaries to find a new home, and the good news is that they'll be available again via a YouTube membership that we're setting up LATER TODAY. I'm heading out to Florence this week for the Grand Départ, so I look forward to bumping into some of you there. Thanks for reading. Dan

@MartinKnight_ Yep! You could get four fruit salads or black jacks for an old penny. I often used to buy just one with a farthing.
