@ZssBecker They (Yuga) make a fair bit through royalty, arguably that is their business or part of the core revenue stream at least. That’s a something that doesn’t apply to Pokémon cards. I get your reason for comparison but this is a non comparable match for many reasons too.

Seems tons of talk on Yuga “diluting” their NFTs. This is silly. YUGA is like Pokémon. Bayc are the first edition landmark collectibles. But not every NFT they make, just like every Pokémon card, needs to be an expected ROI investment. Nfts, like most collectibles, should vary in value…with most collectibles just having low to sentimental value and the small hyper rare top ones being real assets. This is healthy. Telling brands they can’t sell or release new product unless they make the holders money is not healthy or even remotely logical. Yuga is a business. Imagine if first edition Pokémon card holders told Pokémon they can’t drop new packs or that new packs need to double in value. We need to change how we view NFTs.

@M_Muszalski @_developit @tracker1 Surely a case by case consideration, skeptical this would be absolute given there are so many infra and content variables at play. Agree speed and speed perception are important points of optimisation design.
