@BryanMi @INRIX @kirklandgov I bet you love living in a large comfortable home with ample heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. Inrix and your employees shouldn’t be threatened by people lacking the most basics of needs. Fighting traffic is import. Fighting homelessness is more important.

This week @INRIX signed a lease which will move us out of Kirkland which has been our home for the past 18 years. Why? @KirklandGov made a decision to put a homeless hotel right across the street from our current HQ, in the backyard of #EastsidePrep and next door to @Burgermaster. No drug testing required, no treatment required and no real supervision on-site. Where this experiment has happened before in King County, crime rates have risen since according to reliable data, 70%+ of homelessness is the result of drug addiction and/or mental health issues (@choeshow, @DiscoveryInst1). When I attended the City Council meeting to speak out on this issue, @KirklandGov refused to let anyone speak. A previous mayor once told me years ago that INRIX was the 5th largest employer in @Kirkland. I have no idea what we are now (we've grown), but bad public policy has consequences. Employers can move. We are. If a local government won't listen to it's citizens and/or employers, they will probably find other places to locate.

@kspore @alexlindsay Same price as a high end PC. So, if your business is building software and think Apple might be on to something, this is a small cost to pay. They know that too. Future versions, if their vision is right, will clearly be more affordable.

@alexlindsay I still don’t see a market. We $3500 not including AC+ and the optics for eye glass wearing population, it’s priced out of all but the wealthiest of Apple faithful. What devs will invest serious cash in developing for it?

WWDC Keynote Quick Take 1) Overall OS updates solid evolution. Nothing crazy. 2) MacPro loaded is -only- $11,700 and much more powerful than Intel version 3) Vision Pro - they nailed version 1. They will sell as many as they can make. 4) The event video was so great… I can’t go back to watching stage events. The era of the “Keynote” has less than 3 years left before it’s gone everywhere.

@birdhustle @Scobleizer I heard the same about the iPod, the iPhone, the Apple Watch and AirPods. So, sure, must be.

We are just finishing up three plus hours on Twitter Spaces talking to many industry pioneers about the future of the Apple headset. Thank you. So much gratitude to write in the new Apple journal. :-) We still are waiting. And will be waiting for years more for the technology to get more affordable, better, smaller, lighter, for mainstream. The creatives will soon take over. A chapter in my life closes. A new one opens. Now we go unaligned.

@schlimmson Is it practical / possible to have one page (out of many) in an ionic/angular app handled by SSR? Most of myqrcard.app is fine as is, but one page could benefit from increased speed and open graph support. Thoughts?
