@BosCardHunter I can see the WHY behind upcharges. PSA sees that they are creating BIG value on an item they grade & they want a piece of that profit. With that said, I feel the insurance element or increased shipping costs should be absorbed by PSA, not passed along to collectors. My $0.02.

Will think about this for a while but no more upcharges would be nice

@yanxchick I have found my lane or sweet spot in buying raw & slabbed singles on Ebay. No real desire to rip wax based on the common disappointment after ripping. Recent pickups shown here…. Getting cards like this in the mail always brings me a lot of hobby joy!

Collecting is not the tough part. I know what I like. I know what I collect. I have a collection I love and want to grow. I do find the business side of the hobby tough at times. And I'm so entrenched in it, so there isn't a chance to step back when it gets like this.

I am calling on @eBay to ban the phrase “non auto” in card listings. Also, they should penalize accounts who try to do this. People need to just list their cards accurately without trying to trick folks or the search algorithm. @CardPurchaser

@TheHobbyPhd @CardPurchaser Honestly, if you’ve been looking for years and one has NEVER hit Ebay, I would be suspicious that the cards got packed out correctly at the printing press. There have been a couple of cards I’ve watched for on Ebay on a rainbow or two & them never hitting Ebay feels strange. 🤷🏻‍♂️

All these people rippin 2023 jumbos looking for all aces, surely someone will stumble upon a Christian Vasquez World Series Champion auto?? I’ve never seen it and its obscurity is alluring. @CardPurchaser
