@SMXLFC You are right. I don't blame Slot for much, because the players are the ones who have fallen off the cliff and who are underperforming significantly. But my one criticism for sure is his lack of flexibility and trust in team selection. It's his biggest downfall.

Slot’s stubbornness may end up costing him his job. Curtis has to be starting games over Mac Allister & Rio has to be featuring a lot more than he already is. But his mind is definitely made up on Jones, so that’s that.

@LFCApproved Everyone is on Slot's arse about this. But I blame the players. For all the money they earn, that was a disgustingly low quality performance from all. There is only so much blame you can put on the manager. These are intelligent world class players, they have no excuses.

This coach and some of these players who brought so much joy last season are making me hate watching the club this season. Wild.

How on earth is Gakpo starting again over Rio Ngumoha? We have a 17-year-old star who never gets chances to play, while the winger who has been especially poor this season keeps starting game after game. Joshua Abe, are you watching? #LFC

Many fans on here must live in some alternate reality. It has been a tough season for many reasons. We play in a league of fine margins, and while I admit a part of the season we played awful, in recent times, the luck that went with us last season, went against us. That's football.

Strange we are open to loaning Calvin Ramsay given obvious depth issues in the back. Coaches and club must not really think he can offer much. Time is ticking nt expediting any last min additions unless someone is geographically close by & available for medical

Paul Merson is an idiot and says ridiculous things. I think the mistake was the size of the overhaul, a case of too quick too soon. But "Horribly Wrong", just rubbish. I think most of us believe that the summer signings are all coming good and are going to be our stars of the future.

Whisper it quietly but Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards have used this transition season to almost completely rebuild Liverpool’s spine. Ekitike, Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong have all starting performing at high levels now and will only get better. Isak had just started kicking on before his injury and he should be back for the latter stages of the CL so he could still have a big impact on our season. Now we’ve gone out and signed one of THE elite young CBs in word football for the summer, to join Giovanni Leoni, one of the other elite CB prospects. We’ve also signed 18 year old Mor Talla Ndiaye to join our U21 squad, along with 17 year old Ifeanyi Ndukwe, two more absolutely elite level young CBs who will develop in our academy before pushing to step into the first team, probably just as Virgil starts to think about retiring or moving somewhere for the final few years of his career. All in all, while everyone has been at home complaining about Liverpool’s season, Hughes and Edwards haven’t skipped a beat, making sure that the mid-long term prospects of our team are secured, even if this season hasn’t gone exactly to plan. The best sporting directors in the business.
