KU Fans better pray that Bill Self can get healthy, feels good about next year and is excited about what he can bring in with the right amount of money. U are not finding a better coach and recruiter that will leave where he is at for KU. Just saying.

@JustThatGuyGG @ActorTonyRomo @NFL @TomPelissero Perhaps but consider also that Tua & Murray would have had to agree to backup Mahomes (aside from a few possible starts to begin season) and thus chose to battle Penix & McCarthy instead

@allenanalysis Wait, dont liberals hate the use of oil as a fuel? Good thing we drill baby drill and are self sufficient. Only 3% of America's oil come s from the Persian Gulf. 50% of China's oil comes from the PG. Who's winning here?

🚨THIS IS BAD. 🚨 CNN: Iran has begun laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. Dozens laid. Hundreds more possible in the coming days. This changes everything. Closing the Strait with naval presence is reversible. Mining it is not. Every ship that enters now risks hitting a mine. Insurance companies will pull coverage. No captain will order a transit. No company will take the liability. The Strait doesn’t just close. It becomes impassable. 20% of global oil. 30% of Taiwan’s LNG. 33% of global nitrogen fertilizer. The sulfur supply chain. The semiconductor supply chain. All of it!!!! Trump threatened Iran with annihilation last night on Truth Social. Iran responded by mining the waterway. “Catastrophic consequences for oil markets” isn’t an analyst’s projection anymore. It’s the floor.

ESPN sources: the Chiefs and Rams are working on a blockbuster trade that would send All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie to Los Angeles for a package that would include the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. McDuffie would be expected to sign a long-term deal with the Rams.

@DBRENNER1234 @jayjay1795 @LaL1Dy @JLazzy23 Couldn’t agree more with him…I was simply pointing out he never mentioned when they won (twice) but it’s an issue after a loss! He makes valid points but it would hit harder if he brought it up prior to tournament

@LaL1Dy @JLazzy23 3 on 3 doesn't favour the better team , it shortens the skill gap if anything and leads to flukey plays happening.

@quentinktorres Or, assuming no others are put in jeopardy, how about we let the athlete & their team/inner circle make that call. She earned her spot, she nailed her training run! The regret of not competing when clearly capable would far outweigh the potential regret of trying & failing!

I've been saying for days now: the risk of Lindsey Vonn competing on a freshly torn ACL never outweighed the reward. No one, especially not me, has questioned her drive, her work ethic, her heart, or her grit. She has all of that in massive amounts. She's a legend who's inspired generations with genuine passion and relentless hard work. This decision was ego masked as passion. The overwhelming hype from the online world, the emotional stories, the "warrior" narratives pumping her up..it all fed into overriding clear medical judgment. In that moment, it wasn't about pure heart or legacy; it was ego refusing to accept sitting out what might be her final Olympics, no matter the danger. Even if a flag tugged and pulled at her (as we saw in the crash), that's part of downhill skiing's inherent risk at 70+ mph. The sport is brutal and unforgiving. But her knee was already compromised ruptured ACL, bone bruising, meniscal damage just nine days prior. The stability wasn't there. Her body wasn't ready for that level of forces, and pushing through turned a bad situation into a potentially catastrophic one. ACL tears are season-ending (often career-altering) at the pro level for good reason. These athletes have the absolute best doctors, surgeons, and PTs money can buy. Teams pay NFL and NBA stars hundreds of millions and almost never rush them back from serious knee injuries because the long-term fallout, more tears, accelerated arthritis, shortened careers, is too high. If "pushing through" were smart and low-risk, we'd see it everywhere. We don't. There's nothing admirable about racing on a destroyed knee when it's not a life-or-death fight. Short-term glory, one more Olympic moment, the roar of the crowd and online praise, none of it is worth the cascading injuries that often follow. This is exactly what happens when you're surrounded by people who won't say NO. When the yes-men, the hype machine, and the emotional pull drown out the hard truth: this was the least smart move you can make in elite sports. Regardless of it being her last Olympics or not. I got pushback for calling this out before the event. Emotions are high now, and I understand why. But the facts don't change: bad injuries breed worse ones. We have to stop glorifying these risky calls and start prioritizing long-term health over short-term legend-building. I personally hope Lindsey recovers fully and strongly, she truly deserves the best. Wishing her nothing but health and peace moving forward. But we can't pretend this was wise. Ego masked as passion put everything on the line unnecessarily. Long-term health > short-term hype. Every single time. #LindseyVonn #AlpineSkiing #Olympics2026

@jurgen_nauditt The USA is not going anywhere but up. We just had 20 trillion in investment commitments that no other nation can match. Nobody can hold a candle to the economy and prosperity of the United States. 🇺🇸

Goodbye USA. The EU and India have signed a trade and security agreement in New Delhi. According to Ursula von der Leyen, the new agreement creates a free trade zone for around two billion people. It provides for a gradual reduction of Indian tariffs on cars from the EU from 110% to 10%. Most other tariffs will also be eliminated: 44% for machinery, 22% for chemicals, and 11% for pharmaceutical products. European farmers will gain access to the Indian agricultural market – most restrictions will be lifted or significantly reduced. EU companies will receive privileged access to the Indian services market, including financial services and maritime transport. The security agreement provides for enhanced cooperation in maritime and cybersecurity, counter-terrorism, and the potential joint development of military technology in the future.

@weegieguy @BortonDoug @anders_aslund He essentially “negotiated a deal” to keep the existing deal in place. He does however have the blueprint of a great idea so there’s that. If it’s anything like his healthcare blueprint we should see nothing new going forward

It might be my wishful thinking, but it appears to me that it is possible that Trump's disastrous performance in Davos might have been an international turning point. 1. No sane person would make such an anti-European speech in Europe, that is, Trump is not sane. /1

@heykayadams Question for you. It’s a thing here in football (soccer) do you think the Bills want to make Josh Allen TOO much of the star and that’s why he comes up short? Not saying that’s the sole reason but some players I’ve spoken to say too much responsibility leads to complacency

@BuffOriginStory Josh Allen’s 4 interceptions while once again playing Hero Ball is where Bills fans should be focused. Because that is what has killed the Bills more often than a call you don’t like. Bills fans inability to question their Lord and Savior Allen is what is “totally insulting”.
