“Fans get frustrated…. The Sox looked terrible for (their) first 25 games. I remember a plane flying overhead when we (Liverpool) were beating Manchester United 7-0 that read ‘FSG OUT!’… It doesn’t mean you ignore them, it means you work harder – you don’t settle for mediocrity. You have to win."

I'm still adamant they will let him go at the end of the season. A performance like this season's is unacceptable after a league win & the investment we have made I know many of you feel the opposite & that he will stay & deserves it. I don't believe that, and I could be wrong.

@Jonathvnlol @kneand_ No, it’s intentional. If you load up the city scapes diamond quest, the michael young one only gives you a ~80% (can’t remember the exact number) percent chance of getting him, even on GOAT. Won twice, didn’t get him either time, and ended up just buying him for 12k 😭

@AdamMKaufman ya it is Joes fault. When your team can’t hit a shot you as the coach need to tell them to cut the shit and get inside, and take it to the basket. It’s not the first example of it either which makes it even more so the coach that needs to make the adjustment.

I just don't agree. From 5:58-1:33 when it was a 1 possesison game, they went 2-8 from the floor as a team
1-5 on 3s (all of which were open)
1-3 on 2s (all of which were open)
People just ignore the 2pt misses because it's easier to just blame the 3P for everything as opposed to acknowledging the 2pt AND 3pt execution disappeared

@yer_man_himself Like, I get last season happened by mixing the two styles, but you can’t mix the players and expect them to thrive. Especially Wirtz. He’s a type that needs a team built around him, and Hugo makes sense with him, but Isak doesn’t? Just confusing squad building.

@davidtalksp0rts I'd like to have been a fly on the wall when they were discussing transfer targets and team strategy. They're definitely misused, they seem to have been misprofiled, seemingly both right now. You're absolutely correct, that's what the fullbacks are, great in transitions/counter

@NIKNBAYT Very, very angry and let down by their effort in games 2, 5, and 6. Game 7 they at least played hard and lost due to the variance- the other three felt like they didn’t come to play, which is a repeated issue with this group.

@NElGHT_ Not that mad about Game 7. Absolutely furious about the other three losses. Far too many times this series where they came with no energy and didn’t play with intensity. It’s a repeated trend with this group to have games during series that they just mail in.

I wish the national media had to watch this before they go on their agenda based monologue about the threes. There’s probably 5-10 threes they shouldn’t have taken, but I don’t actually hate a lot of the looks they got. Process wasn’t perfect, but execution was dire.

@yer_man_himself Like, Kerkez and Frimpong feel like Klopp style fullbacks that rampage up and down and get crosses in, but then you have Wirtz who is probably the furthest thing from a “Klopp player” unless he’s a false nine (and obviously that’s not what’s happening).

@davidtalksp0rts This is what's so confusing about our lack of identity. Genuinely, what team are we trying to be? Given the nature of the signings we made, we all assumed it was going in one direction, but it's the polar opposite. The prime examples of that are Wirtz, Kerkez and Frimpong

@patmyazpls @yer_man_himself I don’t mind moving towards a more possession and control based style, but you have to be effective in that. I think a style with big spaces and counterattacking is a lot easier to implement and will generally go over better with the fans who are used to that way of playing.

@NIKNBAYT Think a lot of credit has to go to Philly for doing well against some of the core Mazzulla actions, especially the Spain PnR and early offense flare stuff. Great video, this shows how both the process was largely fine but also some of the things we could have done more.
