I’ll bet SOTx patient won’t respond as well , (like covid, like flu) so especially for our lung recipients we’ll end up double dosing. Hopefully trial proves if that’s necessary

In 2019, an estimated 1.27 million deaths worldwide were directly caused by AMR, and AMR played a part in nearly 5 million deaths. Aspergillus is a VERY hard diagnosis to make. The markers are: *Galactomannan *Beta-D-glucan *PCR You really need TWO of these to be positive to be certain.

Long ago, the field of ID could have carved out paid niches in the interpretation of cultures, susceptibilities, etc. (like other specialties do). However, none of that happened and today the specialty can't attract sufficient fellows because other fields are more lucrative.
