My dad passed with only he and I in the room. I’d just told him everything I wish I had always said, about how much I loved and appreciated him, and how all I wanted was to make him proud. I put my hand on his hand, and a few minutes later he was gone. I believe he heard what I said and was finally at peace. I truly didn’t realize how much my dad loved me till after he passed; funny how that works. He was the greatest man I ever met. Rip dad I love you!
