Guys who have built steel shops, what did you do for insulation packages?

@LaliberteAlly @Kotyjo Exactly! It’s pretty hard for a young person to get started in farming without catching a few breaks from some decent people. The top dollar shouldn’t always be the goal. There’s a lot of reward in giving someone a break if you think they have potential!

@dbburka @Kotyjo I agree Darrin. Nobody knows the entire situation. Some people, though not considered $ wealthy, may actually be richer than the $$ driven people. It is not an easy road to take as a young farmer so maybe this was paying forward a gift he once had. Recognized a chance to help.

I can't believe Saskatchewan farmers who sell out without shopping around. A local sale just a week ago had a quarter selling for one-third the going rate. A young guy got a deal, or a farmer got screwed and didn't realize land has real value. The seller wasn't wealthy; he was on the poorer side.

I’m looking at purchasing a 90 to 100 hp tracked skid steer with high flow hydraulics. What do you guys have for recommendations? They seem to all have pretty good qualities.

@Chris_bauer_LL @Mullin_95 You need to do tissue tests in season from the new growth on the plants to see if there’s adequate sulphur. One application of 240 lbs /acre will last 5-6 years. Those big chunks will be there a long time but there is a lot of smaller particles that break down faster.

@Mullin_95 You can’t test for elemental sulfur and I’m always low so don’t think I believe that one either mayor

8 or 9 years ago I put this biosul on here and still easy to find yellow chunks. Don’t think I believe in that stuff.

With all the money monette farms saved from machinery dealer, they got to buy all the cattle land up and push down every tree in the country and make it impossible for young farmers in that area to expand

She’s a little heavier than I thought it would be! Maybe this is a good time to rotate tires. Lol
