भाजपा आज खुद को दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी पार्टी कहती है करोड़ों सदस्य, बूथ से लेकर प्रदेश तक नेताओं की लंबी-चौड़ी फौज। लेकिन हकीकत ये है कि अब इस पार्टी में ज़मीनी कार्यकर्ताओं की न तो पूछ है और न ही कद्र। पार्टी अब जीत दिलाने वाले असली सिपाहियों को दरकिनार कर चुकी है।
आजकल जो भी थोड़ा नाम कमा ले, सोशल मीडिया पर छा जाए या फिल्मी चेहरा हो उसे पार्टी में लाकर तुरंत टिकट थमा दिया जाता है। अरुण गोविल हों, सनी देओल, हेमा मालिनी या अब मैथिली ठाकुर बस चेहरा दिखा, और टिकट दे दिया गया। विचारधारा गई भाड़ में, मेहनत गई पानी में।
वहीं वो कार्यकर्ता, जिसने झंडा ढोया, लाठियाँ खाईं, जवानी खपा दी उसे पार्टी सिर्फ भीड़ जुटाने और नारे लगाने के लिए इस्तेमाल करती है। मंच पर जगह नहीं, टिकट की तो बात ही छोड़िए सम्मान तक नहीं बचा।
साफ है, भाजपा अब विचारों की नहीं, चेहरों की पार्टी बनती जा रही है।
