Four years ago, the Bucktooth Botox Bandit of Buffalo (Kathy Hochul) told Republicans in NY to leave the state and said we weren't New Yorkers. After she barely won re-election, my wife and I took her up on her offer. It was the best decision we could have made. We now own a home and a successful business in Tennessee due in large part to a far lower tax burden than what exists in New York. Now Hochul is begging those of us who left to COME BACK to New York so she can tax our income to pay for her and Mamdani's pet projects. Be careful what you wish for, Kathy. None of us are coming back.

But, yeah, you need documentation of citizen to register to vote in any country other than the US. Anyone can get a copy of their birth cert

Disagree, large group say it’s so open it’s nearly impossible to track fraud. Goal is to restrict to only citizens and one vote each. Fulton county cheats and protects the cheaters with poll workers, DA, judges and juries. It may not pass, but it’s valid, and similar to most all civilized nations. It was less needed prior to the invasion, and rampant corruption.

It’s funny, we’ve always had a place for important papers. Birth and death certificates, car titles, passports, wills. How is this not a thing? I’m with @Johnny_Joey, if you can’t locate or replace, you are too stupid, and have no right to vote. Only citizens should vote, prove it

@_sn_n If they can't prove they are who they are -- with a valid ID -- then they shouldn't be allowed to vote. A passport is just a legit form of ID, but so is a Driver License or govt. issued ID.

There would never be a TSA shutdown... if there wasn't a TSA. Eliminate it, and make airlines and airports responsible for providing security to their passengers.

I have my phone locked down so tight that I’m almost never bothered. It even asks the caller for the purpose of the call. It screened a Dr. office last week and I just picked up. Easy and thorough. I also screen texts for key words to accept or trash. Most all political stuff never gets to me.

Pet Peeve: When I sign up for anything these days to receive more information or a discount, I'm asked for my email address. (That's fine. I keep a separate email address for spam and shopping.) BUT now it jumps to a second screen, and they want my phone number so they can spam text me endlessly after I have already given them my email address! No longer will I be duped into that. They can keep the 20% discount.

Unless Senate Republicans choose to change the cloture rule the chamber is effectively under the control of the Democrats. They, like the president, have a veto over legislation - such as funding DHS. I think Leader Thune should just change the cloture rule to require a simple majority in cases where funding for federal workers is suspended.
