They’ll be rich with or without college. The can afford it. It’s a good opportunity for rich people to rub shoulders with other people and a great low-stakes risk-taking time. You also do learn things about the world and yourself. It’s just not worth the money for most people now

American and Texan here: Americans mostly use guns to kill their whole families or random people in road rage related incidents. Lots of times we use them to kill children too. Our 2nd amendment is 50% a cyanide pill we chew on all day and 50% a vanity project for suburban morons

My Gen Z cousin told me he spent $5K for spring break (flights, hotel, drinks etc.). I would drive to a beach, 6 of us in one car, all share the same hotel room, eat ramen, and go to the club before 11 so entry was free.
am I just a boomer now or is that insane?
