I am a US citizen & Surgeon who took care of the Boston Maraton Bombing victims in 2013. I paid for 7 years to own a small apartment in downtown #Beirut for my 3 kids to enjoy summers there. Today, #Israel reduced my dream home to rubble, with american weapons, paid by my taxes.

Here is what’s really going on with regard to the funding stalemate in Congress. ICE agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens on the streets of Minneapolis. Democrats then said: before we write you another check, agree to the same rules every police department in America already follows. Judicial warrants before entering homes. Visible ID. Body cameras. No raids at schools and hospitals. We immediately pushed for votes to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, and FEMA. Republicans blocked it. We tried to fund FEMA alone. Republicans blocked that too. Their position was to fund ICE with no strings attached, or shut the whole thing down. So DHS shut down. Then yesterday, the White House sent a letter admitting we were right. But they still won’t agree to judicial warrants or to take the masks off, which means agents can still break down your door without a judge’s approval and you still can’t see their faces when they do it. We’ve been ready to fund your airport security since day one, not to mention Coast Guard, FEMA and the rest. Republicans chose to protect ICE from accountability instead. #FundDHSFreezeICE

@WincerDude @hollysisk @hayfarani My point still stands. Germany occupied France, Poland, Netherlands, and several other territories. It didn't take long after the war to make peace. Israel has had every opportunity to develop peacemaking skills. It has chosen violence every time.

@DrJoelGator Judges hold policies accountable for complying with the law. They need to provide legal evidence for their overrides. They do not just randomly block policies on a whim.

How ironic is it that Kennedy “isn’t qualified” to lead HHS because he’s not an MD— … But a random judge in Boston is “qualified” to override the work of the HHS Secretary, government departments, medical committees, and countless physicians?

Translation: It is neither legal nor moral for the US to defend itself against a country that has killed more than 1000 Americans during the last 47 years.' Further, it is not moral for the US to help a people whose government murdered 30,000 of its citizens for wanting a better life.' Progressive academia is insane.

Was the bombing legal? no. but was it moral? also no. did they anticipate the Iranian response? not really. but did they at least manage their alliance relations? again no.

@menscoach1 My marriage ended this past year. I can relate to every one of these points except number 5 (she was never loud, just disinterested). I don't feel angry, but I do often feel very sad.

I asked several divorced men that I work with: "When did you realize your marriage was over?" 9 out of 10 named these moments.(And it was not cheating, it was not a big fight)......
