“Word salad” is what people call explanations they don’t have the intelligence to follow. 2,000 years of theology vs “that’s too many words for me” is an embarrassing strategy. Definition of the person’s entire theology = intellectual laziness with a Bible verse attached.

The Bereans didn’t “fact-check the Church with a 66-book Bible.” That didn’t even exist. They checked Acts 17:11 using the OT to see if Paul was legit… and then they accepted his authority. That’s not sola scriptura,that’s Scripture confirming Apostolic teaching.
