I am 26 years old. I had never eaten an entire pint of ice cream. Until the other night. This @alecsicecream pint changed my life. It is the best ice cream I’ve ever tried. I ate the whole thing. All 900 calories. I felt like a superhero. Thank you.

Dear Data Centers In Space Guys-Can someone explain to me how getting marginal energy/cooling costs to zero in space saves $, given that they are only 10-15% of revenues for most terrestrial AI DC financial models? Surely payload, redundancy and insurance costs offset that.

@doomerzoomer @Ross__Hendricks $SG trading at like 0.6x 26E sales when adjusted for Spyce proceeds (vs >3x for broader QSR). any sign of SSS recovery and it’s back above $15.

@amitisinvesting I think very few people are arguing that Google, which trades at like a 25x PE, is part of the current bubble cohort that trades at >100x revenue.

berkshire bought Google after 20 years likely at a $2-$2.8T market cap and people want to say we are in the next dot-com bubble the holding company that has more T-bills than the Federal Reserve, $300B in cash, and never touches technology just bought 17.8M shares of one of the largest capex spenders on the planet projected to spend $93B next year on datacenters while at the same time does $100B+ in net income and we are somehow in a dot-com bubble okaaaaaaaaay 🤷‍♀️

@seanjagermann @MaxMulvihil @eatboldbar But don’t you kinda play there anyway based on the macro profile of the bar, albeit with a 50% larger bar for 50% more money? My sense is that most consumers have had their fill of a bar after 200ish calories, no matter how good the bar is.

I agree regarding taste, texture, and ingredient quality, but I my personally really don’t like that subsector of the bar market that’s in the 200 cal at 10-15g protein range. There are extremely successful brands in that space (IQ, GoMacro, etc) but it’s not really where I want to play.

Very honest post here. Finding a way to produce @eatboldbar in a way that doesn’t make me lose every cent to my name is extremely, brutally hard. Don’t know what I’ll get out of posting this. Just sharing the feelings. Who knew the price of protein would drive me insane.

Chamath: “The Palantir short is stupid.” “The Palantir short is stupid, and I think that those people will lose money.” “The thing that the people that are shorting this company don't understand is that all of these other businesses that you put up there, there is a viable competitor of some kind that you can switch to.” “Look at the one with the lowest multiple to sales, MongoDB. There's 90 versions of what MongoDB does.” “I'm not gonna say whether MongoDB is good or bad. It’s actually a good company. It's an extremely well run business, but it's not unique. It's just extremely well run.” “Snowflake is not unique, but it is well run.” “Palantir is both unique and well run, and there's no clear alternative, so there's no place to churn to.” “And so I think the reason why it has a premium valuation is because the duration and the durability of these cash flows are much longer than what you would typically see in any of these other companies.” “And if people took 1/1000th of a second to actually use their brain, they'd come to that conclusion.”

IMO a bar with 200 calories (14g protein) for $3 a pop would be the sweet spot -- no need to compete with the protein maxxing segment of the bar market. Also, IMO we're past peak protein maxxing via bars, and people will soon realize that drinking protein is a cleaner, lower-calorie, simpler, less-bad-tasting way to maximize protein intake if that's your goal. Taste, texture and ingredient quality will reign supreme in bar land over the long term.

@dcstingle @MaxMulvihil @eatboldbar That’s correct. Working back from the protein. It could probably come a little lower if I reduced the nut butters, but it could be a trade-off on texture over time. That is equally as important.
