In response to the Kirk assassination, I have submitted a formal request to set up a table on my campus. The table will be designated for students who disagree over political issues to sit and talk. We need our shared humanity.
"If every college in our country cannot model the civil discourse he tried to embody, then that is an indictment on these institutions and our Republic."
I hope other students will do the same on their campus.

In memory of Charlie, I urge every major American university, especially the Ivy League and New England’s small liberal arts colleges, to invite conservative speakers to their campuses and to welcome them. Academia cannot be a no go zone for conservatives. Charlie would welcome this.
It will help heal the country if the liberal left that dominates colleges actively reaches out and peacefully welcomes the right.

If I'm reading the data correctly, Trump's percentage of the White vote decreased a bit, but the decrease was more than made up for by an increase in his percentage of the Black vote and a huge increase in his percentage of the Hispanic vote. Does anyone read it differently?
