@gss2003 @Daniel_Bowers the IBM x3300 M4 has 12 DIMM slots i.e. 2 DPC (3 memory channels ?) - 16GB RDIMMs are best choice at 2 DPC

@gss2003 @Daniel_Bowers for 32GB will need LRDIMM/HCDIMM - however seems odd that 32GB LRDIMMs not available until Q1 2013 .. ?
