Today scheduled monthly task I assigned myself✅ Time in each Q Dept (including mine) working alongside staff to give them direct access to me, to voice their thoughts/concerns, observe each Dept’s work ethics & get to know all Q Sector staff better✅ Rewarding & successful day✅

@de32344 Bugger, I missed it. I’m on a school excursion, as the parent helper, with 16 kids in Sydney o’night. I thought those days were behind me! 🤦‍♀️

@de32344 Manfred (isn’t that the best German name!) lived in Wiesbaden and we stayed in Mainz too I think. We then drove to Trento in northern Italy and lived there for three months. Great memories.

@RachelBoss10 Oh … that was so nice of him 🙂 My parents learnt German and spoke and wrote fluently. They got it into their heads that they wanted to speak German😂 I spent a lot of time in Marburg. A University town with wonderful old bookshops. I loved going to Marburg.

@de32344 Totally agree. I learned German at school for a few years so always had an affinity for the country. A lovely chap used to work with hubby who would bring in sourdough & other food to share. We caught up with him yrs later in Germany and he put us up at his mum’s apartment!

@scrotely I will add; AI possibly can perform many aspects of quality assurance but human oversight is necessary, required & vital to manage complex & more nuanced quality issues that require contextual understanding. I am not a fan of AI as you can tell 😂😂

@scrotely Quality Assurance and AI are not a good mix. We are not and we will not be. It’s up to a Co if they want to be digital/electronic with their QA system. Quality Assurance can’t be done by AI. Human action is required throughout processes.

@RachelBoss10 Germans have a great sense of humour. I spent a lot of time in Germany for work and they were the nicest and most generous of hosts.

@de32344 This was my first experience of the German sense of humour. (I thought we were in trouble for a minute!). I have a German friend now and love them now I understand their humour.
