Creators need to understand the influence they have. I too am pissed and sad about the entire D2 situation but the frustration you put out is amplified to an unhealthy level through your audience. These are Marathon developer's jobs you're playing with. It's not their fault.

Will it do anything? Probably not. We recognize that. But if there is even a 1% chance that it makes someone who can make it happen reconsider the idea of a destiny 3, its worth it to me. Not saying it has to be worth it to you, but to me and a lot of others doing this, it is.
