@JeffreyTheGreek Not for the win, but id rather have ohio st for the money generated by playing them at home and having their fans buy tickets or our own for getting up for a big game. Not saying indiana wouldn't do the same, but idk how much indiana fans spend for the playoff vs regular season

Choh vs Brown gives a non-market dominance conference protection. As long as schools reside in a conference they have the protection. Thus, a collection of schools could form a new conference. Big Ten is contracted through 2036. Unlikely Big Ten and SEC split. ACC/Big 12 split?

I agree. A new single league invitation breakaway combining all top X FBS brands would absolutely run afoul of antitrust just like the NCAA does. Multiple separate conferences would stand a much stronger Chance of avoiding strict scrutiny via Choh That said, a combined new entity breakaway would probably also be legally separate from schools and embrace employment immediately so it just overcomes the obstacles in a different way

@CSGNet no because Texas didn't have a CFP-worthy resume in the Committee's eyes (I agreed) the loss to UF gets circled but I think struggling against UK and needing to come from behind to beat MSU didn't help matters

The Rock should return to films like The Rundown, where he’s given an opportunity to use his physicality & his personality in a natural way. I really enjoy this film & Walking Tall. I think there’s room for The Rock to return to more mid-budget films that allow him to kick ass as a true action star. More of this.

The Rock’s career is at a crossroads- I really believe that. My difficulty with The Rock is that he makes questionable creative decisions. I think he can act. Do I think he’s Laurence Olivier? Be serious. But the scripts The Rock picks & the films he chooses to make haven’t made a lot of sense. I loved The Smashing Machine but now a live-action Moana followed by another Jumanji? The Rock’s filmography isn’t as strong as it should be at this stage of his career. I question if it will improve.

So basically, this runs counter to the narrative all over social yesterday that the Big 12 "sold" jersey patch rights for all 16 schools for pennies on the dollar to Monster Energy. No, it was a co-branding deal with the league - and netted an *additional* million per school, *in addition* to the school's own jersey patch deal. Brilliant move by the Big 12 👊👊
