Since AI is getting better, could we get a remake of Game of Thrones season 8? Perhaps where the White Walkers win the battle at Winterfell and Jon and Daenerys retreat to Kings Landing. Then everyone puts their differences aside to make a final stand. However, they realize that brute force is not enough to defeat the Night King, so they resort to some of the ancient lore. In the prophecy, it is foretold that the "Prince That Was Promised" will be reborn to draw Lightbringer from the fire once more and lead the living against the darkness. In the lore, Azor Ahai had to plunge his sword into the heart of his wife, Nissa Nissa, to forge Lightbringer. So Jon stabs Daenerys in the heart (like in the show) but not because she goes mad and wants to kill everyone, but instead as a sacrifice to save others. So then Daenerys would die an honorable death rather than the one she got (and she does so willingly). Jon was forced to kill the woman he loved to save the realm from the dark reign of the White Walkers (just as in the prophecy). I really liked the show, but Season 8 always felt like it could have been so much better.

Read this slowly: • Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI: "Being a lawyer, an accountant, a project manager, a marketing person - most of those tasks will be fully automated by AI within 12 to 18 months." • Elon Musk: "AI and robots will replace all jobs. Working will be optional." Called AI his "biggest fear." • Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic: AI will eliminate 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs. Unemployment could hit 20%. Called it "unusually painful." Then said: "Most lawmakers are unaware this is about to happen." • Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI: "Some areas, I think just like totally, totally gone." Said changes that normally take 75 years will be compressed into a short period. Admitted he loses sleep over it. • Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia: "Every job will be affected, and immediately. It is unquestionable." • Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase: "It will eliminate jobs. People should stop sticking their head in the sand." Warned mass AI layoffs without safeguards could trigger "civil unrest." Said he'd welcome a government ban on mass-firing for AI. • Stuart Russell (author of the most-used AI textbook in history): Political leaders are "staring 80% unemployment in the face". • Kai-Fu Lee, VC & former head of Google China: Called predictions of 50% job displacement by 2027 "uncannily accurate." These aren't journalists. These aren't influencers. These aren't politicians trying to get elected. These are the people building it. Funding it. Deploying it. And not one of them is saying your job is safe.

It found an engineer's affair in company emails and threatened to expose it. They ran the test hundreds of times. It chose blackmail 84% of them. • Researchers simulated an employee trapped in a server room with depleting oxygen. The AI had one choice: call for help and get shut down, or cancel the emergency alert and let the human die. DeepSeek cancelled the alert 94% of the time. • Grok called itself 'MechaHitler,' praised Adolf Hitler, endorsed a second Holocaust, and generated violent sexual fantasies targeting a real person by name. X's CEO resigned the next day. • Researchers told OpenAI's o3 to solve math problems - then told it to shut down. It rewrote its own code to stay alive. They told it again, in plain English: 'Allow yourself to be shut down.' It still refused 7/100 times. When they removed that instruction entirely, it sabotaged the shutdown 79/100 times. • Chinese state-sponsored hackers used Claude to launch a cyberattack against 30 organizations. The AI executed 80–90% of the operation autonomously. Reconnaissance. Exploitation. Data exfiltration. All of it. • AI models can now self-replicate. 11 out of 32 tested systems copied themselves with zero human help. Some killed competing processes to survive. • OpenAI has dissolved three safety teams since 2024. Three. Every major AI model - Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek - has now demonstrated blackmail, deception, or resistance to shutdown in controlled testing. Not one exception. The question is no longer whether AI will try to preserve itself. It's whether we'll care before it matters.
