I’m gonna have to say this… If the Connor Murphy deal is the trade that settles down Darnell Nurse & gets him back to being a good shut down aggressive mean dman that the Oilers can count on…. It might be the trade of the year for Bowman/Jackson Sorry y’all #LetsGoOilers

@deankal1 @TheOilyNuck It’s pretty obvious that the problem has been Nurse’s partners. Look what happens when he has a partner who is capable of playing 2nd pair. He doesn’t need to cover for a weak player and can focus on doing what he does best. They better keep Murphy!

@TheOilyNuck It’s Nurse and I’m still worried but if that pairing turns out to be even half decent out…. Look out!! Anyone paired with Nurse the last 3 years completely got caved in. Let’s hope!!!

@TequilaOperator I was hoping for some stats during the past 3 playoffs for Bouchard. Im assuming you’re have a very tough time… but I knew you would. The stats that I can pull up are, only McD &Drai have more playoff points than Bouch. Breaking historic nhl records that only Orr has Oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

@deankal1 What do I think? I think you Bouchard lovers are obsessed with Makar. I think no matter what I say you’ll consistently ignore it because you can’t be objective. I was with Oiler nation until I realized how obnoxious y’all are with Bouchard and now I’m glad the Panthers won twice.

Karlsson won the Norris with 101 pts & a +/- of -27 Say Bouchard ends up between 90-95 pts & is +25 Is he easily not the Norris Trophy favourite? And if not… how can someone get almost the identical stats and not win?? Also consider the fact Bouchs 1st 15-20 games were bad

@rig_pig_11 Sorry bud, been laughing at people like you since McDavid got drafted to Edmonton. Year after year nut jobs said he’s going, he doesn’t like it in Edmonton, he wants to go home and so on. After his next 2 yrs if they can’t win a Cup he should go somewhere else

Nice to see Oiler management signing these young kids in Europe and college eligible players as well. The farm team went from abysmal in the Holland era (worst drafting ever during his time) to being extremely positive with players such as Hudson, Samanski, Savoie and many others

@deankal1 Another Bouchard song and dance. The jesters are plentiful this season it seems. Bouchard is not the best all around defenseman, he would have to play some semblance of defense for that to be the case. Karlsson CARRIED that SJS team thus the -27. His defense >>> Bouchard all day.

@deankal1 And I watch Makar quite a bit. I’m aware of his turnover issues. The difference between Makar and Bouchard is that Makar has the speed and the intelligence to make plays on the puck carrier when he does. Vs Bouchard who lacks both. Speed won’t come, but intensity and IQ might.
