As good as Gobert is on defense, he’s such a low skill offensive player

After several years of declining search traffic, Condé Nast CEO @rogerlynch has directed all the company's brands to operate as if search traffic to their properties will be zero. He says the era of turning search and social media traffic into profitable businesses is gone. And that if you run a media business that doesn't have an authoritative brand, a very strong niche, or a direct audience, you're going to be fighting hostile algo changes all the way down. He describes a recent board meeting: "We took a snapshot of search results from seven or eight years ago. And what you saw were a few sponsored links, then the ten blue links." "Do the same search today, you get an AI overview, then you get rows and rows and rows of commerce links, then you get sponsored stuff." "Each of the last three years, we would do our budgets, and we'd put forecasts in of search traffic declining. Because we'd seen the pattern of algorithm changes. And generally those algorithm changes were negative." "Every year, our search traffic was down more than we had forecast. So last year I told our teams, 'Assume there's no search.' You have to have your businesses planned as if search is zero. We don't expect it to be zero, we expect it to be a single-digit percentage of our traffic."

@NBAHistory I was at that game. The feel of when Sleepy began to go off was as if things slowed way down for him, He put up 29 points in 12 minutes most were old school and 1's to the rack. It was amazing! Crowd was going nuts

THE SLEEPY FLOYD GAME. Donovan Mitchell's 39-point second half in Game 4 tied Sleepy Floyd's 39 in this iconic May 10, 1987 performance! 📽️

@SteveSchmidtSES People didn't lose confidence in themselves. You think the couple at Piggly Wiggly gives a sh*t about confidence? They just don't like, some hate, people who have educations, make more money, and lead a soft life compared to the couple at the Piggly Wiggly

@JTTheBrick Can they stop screwing with the data set lineups? Put the speedster at the top, bat control guy 2nd, then your bangers in the 3-4-5 holes. Shohei crushes 55 hrs and only has 102 RBIs - yes with an "s"

Killer Karl Kox, babyface, directing the ref out of the picture by blaming Onita for something, gnawing upon Masa Fuchi's eye, and then playing around like his own eye was hurting. What a guy.

I think its time for a red card in basketball. If you flop to get advantage on a play, play gets reviewed, instant red card. Thank you! 🤝

@jrichardgoodman It doesn't hurt during your run to have the firepower of Steph, Klay, and KD shooting 3s in the same lineup.

Players make schemes ,Schemes maximize player,Green fit Kerr like a glove, he was the triggerman for the best off ball player and Green was an elite defender , you didn't need a typical PG who couldn't guard ,then you add the wings and the switching 1 through 5 and eat NBA pnr game , you get a dynasty 👊

Surely not the first to observe this, but asking Gemini to proofread (just spelling and grammar) is not a perfect solution. It misses a lot of extraneous and dropped words. Recently caught it messing up an its/it's.

I have a question, nobody is questioning Green defense and Green as a triggerman , but yall treating Klay like he wasn't around,he was a two way Dude ,he guarded the perimeter superstars and gave you alot on offense also ...Klay helped the offense put the defense 50 feet apart...im just let yall know Klay was him too 👊

@erecasner Money shot! All true. Played in 70's, 80's,90's and today. Announcers like Dorris Burke are the worst. They shill for the NBA by over exaggerating skill levels as if we haven't seen it before. I got news for them. They ran more in the 80's than they do today!

The current NBA is the softest basketball I have ever seen. Some great players/athletes no doubt but the rules and the way the games are officiated is a joke. The Flagrant fouls and Reviews are a JOKE! The “Gather” step (travel) is a joke. INTIMIDATION is no longer a factor!

It seems many folks forget Klay, he gave Steph gravity, he also guarded the other teams first option on the guards so Steph didn't have too👊

@GiantHotTakes Your "hot" take is that Vitello is an issue of some magnitude just not the biggest one. If you're defending him then that isn't the path to take. If you're not defending him, then it seems like a 1st yr manager in MLB doesn't have the cred to guide vets

@BillSimmons Hey Bill you're 41 years late to that train - Knicks get big Patrick and the lottery ball drop is held behind closed doors with no fan audience. NBA's rigged the draft for decades. Explain Flagg to Dallas? Wemby to San Antonio. . .

Cannot for the life of me figure out why… 1. The NBA moved the lottery to a Sunday afternoon 2. They put it at 3 ET before the 2 playoff games on Mother’s Day no less. It’s almost like they’re trying to sneak it by us. Conspiracy Bill is on alert!!!!!!!!

Watching the NBA playoffs unfold I’m in even more belief the crack down on tanking and lottery changes is connected to giving small markets less opportunities to flourish. These teams are a ratings nightmare.
