“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, and as vital to our lives as water and good bread. A civilization which destroys what little remains of the wild, the spare, the original, is cutting itself off from its origins and betraying the principle of civilization itself.” Edward Abbey

My kids are so bummed that no one wants to do history with them -- they are coming up with a whole sales pitch to their friends to get them to join "culture club" So I'll try too If your homeschool kid loves history, is between 9-13, & in the Phoenix area, let me know♥️

@JillyinTexas @jeffreytucker It’s not just cancer either. How many heart attacks could have been prevented? How many people had to die alone without their family?

This how the Covid hysteria ( NOT COVID) gave me cancer and changed my life forever.... In January of 2020 I had a sore throat that wouldn't go away. I went to my GP and she said it was probably allergies. So, I believed her. The pain came and went off and on. In February 2020, I went back because of pain and it was making me very anxious. She said, she didn't see anything and still thought it was allergies. By March, I could barely eat, the pain was killing me. She gave me medication for anxiety (I can't even remember what it was) and directed me to an ENT. By this time, everything was being shut down. That doctor scoped my throat. He said I had polyps but they were probably because I project my voice. Okay, that made sense because it's true. He flat out told me that they were not cancerous 100%. He said I could not have a PET Scan because with the "Covid guidelines" in place it was considered "elective" and couldn't be done. He said to come back in September for another check. In my mind I had seen three different doctors so they must be right. They couldn't do anything else anyway (Following the Covid guidelines) I was living in excruciating pain for months and on pain meds. In May, I fell (From pain meds) at home, alone, and shattered my ankle, lol (Not really funny, but I was like WTF) In the hospital I go, surgery, and now in a wheelchair 😂 I couldn't go to a residential rehab because it was only for stroke and heart attack people ( Per Covid guidelines) I'm not making this shit up, lol. I told the doctors at the hospital about my throat as well. It's like " You'll be fine" lol. I'm on a walker and at times still in a wheelchair because I'm still recovering BTW when it was September and time to go back and get scoped again at my ENT. He scoped me and said, "I'm referring you to an Oncologist, I think you have cancer" I SHIT YOU NOT that's what he said. I went to (Which is still my Oncologist, whose amazing) He did a PET, results were Stage 4 incurable Squamous Cell Carcinoma spread to Lymphnodes in neck. So yes, I remember the Covid restrictions. It almost killed me. To all the people pushing for another Pandemic, eat shit! Unless it's Ebola spreading like wildfire, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT AND I DON'T CARE. I beat Cancer against all odds and I'm very grateful. Many people died from the Covid restrictions. We can't ever allow that again. Thanks for listening 🩷

The worst part of this whole discourse, not just age but “power imbalance”, is that it removes a womens agency. Women get to choose. If you’re 19 and think Leo’s hot, go for it. If you’re 19 and think Leo’s creepy af, you can say no. If you’re 19, you can decide what you want. You get to make mistakes of your own free will.

Genuinely curious, by now. Do you think that men - say, over 25 - being attracted to young but fully physically/legally, over-18 adults is "pedophilia?"

My 15 yo loves Lord of the Rings. And the original Star Wars (almost 50). And couldn’t stop laughing when he saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail (50) for the first time at 12. There are so many great movies, if you haven’t exposed your kids to them, that’s on you.
Stella@ubiquitousnewt

Your kids are unlikely to appreciate Lord of the Rings. The first film came out 25 years ago. Say you try to get them to watch it when they are 10, 5 years from now. Then it will be 30 years ago. When you were 10 years old, did you like films that were made 30 years ago?

"Mike - You said on your podcast that you have "tens of thousands of unanswered emails." It’s not that I don’t believe you, but…really? Tens of thousands? How can you function knowing your inbox is that flooded? Aren’t you tortured by what might be in there? A job offer? A note from an old girlfriend? A letter from the IRS? The anxiety would kill me...Candice Ramon" Hi Candace, I've told you a million times I never exaggerate. Ha! See attached. PS. Personally, I find it harder to ignore an email once I’ve read it. That’s when it needs to filed, or replied to, or deleted. Easier to just let them pile up. There was a time when a few dozen unread emails kept me up at night, for all the reasons you mention, but then, when it became a few hundred unread emails, I started to realize I could never catch up. My email address isn’t hard to find, and being a public figure invites a lot of unsolicited queries. Also, my time is now a zero-sum game, so every moment spent reading an unsolicited email is a moment spent not doing something more important. (Like answering your question.) Several years ago, when I tried to explain this to Mary, my business partner, her left eye began to twitch. Mary had glanced down at my phone and noticed 1,100 unread emails. “Eleven hundred unread emails!! Are you kidding me??” “Yeah, it’s a lot,” I said. “More than I can handle.” Mary is a legendary multitasker. I’ve seen her read an email and send a text at the same time - often while drafting a contract and running a Zoom call during a lunch meeting. This is a talent I admire, and benefit from a great deal, but do not envy. “How can you possibly have eleven hundred unread emails?” she said, eyes bulging. “On your business account! What’s your Follow Up File look like?” “My Follow Up File? What’s a Follow Up file?” “What do you mean? How do you not know what a Follow Up file is?? It’s the most important file there is!!!” “Well,” I said, “if I don’t read my emails, there’s really nothing to follow up on, is there?” It was at this point Mary’s right eye began to twitch, so I quickly changed the subject, and got one of those privacy screens for my phone. From a business perspective, I understand her exasperation with me. There were probably some legitimate opportunities buried in those eleven hundred unread emails, along with some other interesting...offers. Today, with 39,218 unread emails, I suspect there’s even more. And by the end of this year, when I expect to cross the 50,000-threshold, (hey, it’s important to have goals!) I guess they’ll be more still. But again – in a zero-sum game, every new opportunity means that Mary has to walk something else behind the barn a shoot it. So, what’s the point? As for old girlfriends and the IRS, I suspect either will find me, if it’s really important. The bigger question, obviously, is what will happen to the rest of Mary's face if she sees this?

I like to ask for things for my kitchen that help me but I probably wouldn’t buy. Like my zojirushi bread machine. They bought me some very nice knives one year and now add to the set occasionally. This year I want a nice travel backpack since we will be traveling overseas in Sept. I like practical gifts. He has always made sure that my children do something for me.

For those people saying, “If @MrsErikaKirk were truly grieving, she would’ve taken a year off for her kids and therapy”: Coretta Scott King led a march in Memphis DAYS after MLK’s assassination and kept fighting for civil rights for decades. Myrlie Evers-Williams jumped right into activism after Medgar’s murder, raised their 3 kids, and later ran the NAACP. Ethel Kennedy raised 11 children while pushing the Kennedy family’s political and social causes. Betty Shabazz, who was there when Malcolm X was killed, raised their 6 daughters, got her doctorate, became a prominent activist, and spent her life protecting his legacy. Elisabeth Elliot stayed in the jungle with the tribe that murdered her husband and kept doing missionary work. Some women are just built different. They throw themselves into their husband’s cause instead of falling apart. It’s called “immersion” and is common in grief. You might not like it, but you don’t matter. That woman will protect and continue her husband’s legacy, no matter how awful you people are.

Search is full of ads and wrong answers. Every other email is an ad. Prime Video charges you and shows ads. Paramount? Ads. Peacock? YouTube? Hulu? Ads followed by more ads. Netflix full of ads. Meta and X, every other thing is an ad. Pinterest is nothing but ads. AI is in everything. AI finishes sentences incorrectly and won’t stop. AI reads your email and search history to target you with more ads. Every time you open an app or visit a site there’s an update making it worse. In a hurry? This is on one of Candace's videos about Erika Kirk. The irony stuns me. To Candace followers: What if you were being accused of something you didn't do, and when you told the truth, gave evidence, and could easily be vindicated... You were told you were still lying. Nothing you said, nothing you did was good enough. They look you straight in the eye and say... "The truth doesn't mind being questioned. A lie does not like being challenged!" But THEY ARE the liar. THEY don't have to be questioned. They just keep going on forcing you to "tell the truth." Unbelievable. This is a mind virus. After the propaganda used to make people believe lies and deny reality, I can't believe you're all falling for the same thing. You are ALL being lied to. And you're not even challenging the one lying to you. Because if you do? Then you're the enemy. Don't you see it? As Obstinate says in Pilgrim's Progress: "No I don't see! And quite frankly, I don't WANT to!" The truth is that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk. But you can't challenge the narrative you're being fed. Or you're one of them. You just believe it without question. You won't challenge anything Candace says. This is a conspiratorial cult. She's got you all chasing a laser pointer thinking you're gonna catch it this time. You are trying to solve a mystery that doesn't exist.
