@MartinSLewis I understand how u feel..but hownis it fair that self employed just 6 months het NOTHING even though for 33 years previous was full time employed. Still paying hefty corporation tax...but NO income and NO help.....

@MarkHop18531085 I could but its not going to happen. The scheme has been decided and is in place. Pushing for that simply won't work. We have to work within their system and try and at best bend it. :(

Self employed who doesn't qualify for Universal Credit as you've 'savings to pay tax'? One idea I've had is to pay the tax on account early, to reduce ur 'savings'. I think it'll work but before I do lots of leg work to check legalities, do you think it could practically help?
