@smtravis @danabanker @aric_chokey @FreeSpeechMTSU The honor was ours. Thanks for talking to so many MTSU_SOJ students. I'm so grateful for the hard work your newspaper did in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting. Knowing the truth and facts WILL help other communities. Getting to the truth and facts is not easy. #freepress

Do you ladies know the importance of this TN State Representative? 24 year old Harry T. Burn cast the deciding vote that led to the ratification of the 19th amendment. Women can vote because of TN and because of Harry T. Burn.

We ran into Susan Lynn walking to the caucus meeting. She still has confidence in Casada. “For three text messages? Please.” Asks to see our phones and Sam Stockard obliges.

@schelzig Court of Appeals decision on the Open Meetings Act was about the Tennessee Constitution giving the Legislature control over its own proceedings not that they can't pass laws affecting future lawmakers (think ethics reform). Just not laws removing control over proceedings. IMHO

@debfisher As they keep telling us, they can’t bind future General Assemblies to place themselves under Sunshine laws. But they can impose future drink limits?

The @TNHouseReps finally now on the entire bill. @TimRudd34 says there's been a lot of misinformation out there about his legislation, which he notes has been amended as recently as today. He's now offering an explanation
