Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Mockler: I don't think we are obligated to show this administration any respect when they have treated media with maximum malice. Since Donald Trump entered the U.S. Political scene, every single time he interacts with some journalists in the oval office, it is an incredibly combative interaction. The Pentagon is actively removing career journalists and replacing them with Maga influencers.  I don't think that we should treat this like it's normal. This is not a normal White House Correspondents Dinner. It should not be treated as such.

This is heartbreaking. Chris Duffy says a man involved in the protest last week has sadly taken his own life. The Irish government has a lot to answer for.

The protests in Ireland are not about just fuel! They are about the distance between Ireland on this graph and every other modern and developed economy. Ireland is second wealthiest but gets waaaaay less than any other country for that wealth. By a golden mile. That visual gap in this graph? That’s what people are protesting. It’s a lack of infrastructure and the everyday enshittification of services, the economy, and the additional difficulty of trying to live, relative to peers in any other country. It also highlights why people don’t get uniformly listened to! - because there is no government architecture to engage meaningfully across this huge gap. That gap is a three hour drive to work in traffic, a 14 month wait for an MRI, buses that don’t arrive, trains that don’t exist, schools that have no places for your kids, houses that are unaffordable, pubs that close before midnight, €12 sandwiches, expensive fuel. People feel this gap, even if they can’t explain it precisely. And that builds into resentment, and ultimately protest. Fuel just happened to be the next thing that could be pointed to, today.

Heavy fieldwork day can consume 380–750 + liters per day for the largest models. No one wins
