Jeff has to be one of the least critical thinkers on this app. Imagine thinking any of us don't want them to make playoffs. It's just very clear what we're watching. You don't even need analytics or a pulse to comprehend that the team is living and dying off of an 18-year-old.

@DynoDangle @ChnRstrntKng Contract is going to be one of the best goalie contracts in the league. He’s putting up these numbers with an absolute dog shit defense. Outside of Schaefer and the Bridgeport kids, it’s time to blow up the d-core. All of them except Schaefer. They aren’t good enough.

Still crazy, and maybe the biggest compliment to him of all, is that up 1 in a massive game, 5v6 w/ goalie out, after a timeout with a minute to go, Islanders put out their 18yo D … and he makes 4 good plays to ice the game.
