During OP Sindoor, officers on IB & LOC were briefed to attack Pakistani Posts on 6 May at around 5:30 PM & the TOT (Time on Target) was given to them as 1:05 AM 7May Interestingly, to maintain operational secrecy, Officers told jawans at around 12:40 AM just 25 minutes prior to attack

Among those 200 million "non-productive jihadis" was Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the father of India's missile & nuclear programs. Countless others contributed to India's progress in the field of science, military, sports, literature, cinema, and public service. Muslims were also among the leading figures of India's independence movement, including Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Discounting contribution of an entire community is not only factually wrong but deeply disrespectful to those who helped build India. Such narrow-minded thinking creates division & prevents progress and prosperity you wish to achieve.

@deep_sean @Rajarshi_17 @mountain_rats Agree, India remains behind China in many areas the Biggest Factor for such failure is the 200 million jihadi cretins who don't contribute towards the nation's progress & parasite off its resources via pds schemes, ration, medical, schooling, etc simultaneously hating Indians.

Turkey media indicates that Khalifa Erdogan is having a rising concern that India is moving aggressively to supply military equipment to Greece, Cyprus and Armenia . This will badly effect the Turkish - Azerbaijan- Pakistan nexus. Similarly Beijing is worried regarding both India and Japan , fast moving to become choices for defence partnership as an addition/ alternative to USA .

Memories go back to Dec 1976. Mrs Indira Gandhi was the chief guest at the parade when I passed out from this cradle of leadership. She was simply great. The heady post 71 war, post Pokaran PNE days!

RAHUL SINGH, EX-MAJOR Indian Army
There is a persistent misconception that "babus" control the Armed Forces and that every unpopular decision originates in the bureaucracy. In reality, Service Headquarters formulate proposals, provide military inputs and make recommendations. The Ministry of Defence primarily acts as the interface between the Services and the elected government, which ultimately takes policy decisions. If a Service genuinely wants a structural change, such as alterations to rank nomenclature, insignia or cadre management, there are established institutional mechanisms to pursue it. Cadre reviews and organisational reforms are not extraordinary events. More importantly, armed forces are not democratic institutions where every decision is subjected to a popular vote among personnel. They function through a chain of command. Once a policy decision is taken by the competent authority, personnel are expected to implement it professionally regardless of individual preferences. The larger question is whether changing long-established rank titles enhances operational effectiveness. Naval forces operate in a highly international environment involving multinational exercises, coalition operations, maritime diplomacy and UN assignments. Commonly understood rank structures create immediate professional recognition and interoperability. If a change improves combat effectiveness, command and control, or operational efficiency, it can be justified. If it is merely symbolic, then the burden lies on its proponents to explain the tangible military advantage it delivers.

This is how Babus in MoD scuttle reforms. PM Modi backed replacing Colonial ranks in Indian Armed Forces with Indian titles. Indian Navy accordingly worked out a proposal for replacing the colonial ranks (which are anyway unpopular amongst sailors). However the ‘all knowing’ Babus in their infinite wisdom decided to reject the Indian Navy’s proposal on the flimsy ground that ‘The defence ministry favours a tri-services approach to any change’. The fact that all three Services have distinct rank titles is lost on the MoD babus and their excuse for rejecting Indian Navy’s proposal in just another example of ‘Management by Postponement’. The PM and Defence Minister may have the best intentions but the Babus with ‘no skin in the game’ will always find new ways to put obstacles in reforms. The MoD needs a complete overhaul in the interest of National Security. hindustantimes.com/s/deeplink?tar…

@Rajarshi_17 @mountain_rats If India was winning why India agreed to CF? How Trump knew about CF and tweeted before Modi, Rajnath or Jashankar ? If India had won then why Sindoor is paused? If India didnt lose Rafale why Modi does not say "Trump is lying"? Give any logical answer.

@deep_sean @mountain_rats India's military is fail proof till date. Both Pakistan and Iran lost Chinese made JF-17 and Chinese radars in the last 6 months which shows the credibility of Chinese military equipments. India hardly compares itself with China and is improving at Godspeed
