Police brutality is the worst problem in India. They can do whatever they want to ,as if they are beyond law or they think they are the law themselves. Shame!

श्री सोनम वांगचुक जी को ‘बल-प्रयोग’ करके, ज़बरदस्ती उनके आमरण अनशन स्थल से उठाकर ले जाना अत्यंत निंदनीय समाचार है। आज सुबह घटी ये घटना थोड़ी ही देर में पूरे देश और संपूर्ण विश्व में फैल चुकी है। सारी दुनिया और देशभर में श्री सोनम वांगचुक जी को लेकर गहरी चिंता है और भाजपा सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ आक्रोश भी। जो लोग सादी वर्दी में इस कार्रवाई को अंजाम देने के लिए धोखे से अचानक घुसे थे, उनकी पहचान सार्वजनिक की जाए। ये हमारी पुरज़ोर माँग है कि श्री सोनम वांगचुक जी की चिकित्सा ‘न्यायिक निगरानी’ में हो क्योंकि श्री सोनम वांगचुक जी का जीवन मानवता, पर्यावरण-संरक्षण, लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों, युवा ऊर्जा की प्रेरणा, साइंस और इनोवेशन के लिए अनमोल है। हमारे देश की जनता व समस्त विश्व इस समय भाजपा सरकार को संदेह और सवाल भरी संदिग्ध नज़र से देख रहा है। दमनकारी राजनीति करनेवाली भाजपा सरकार की इस अवांछनीय कार्रवाई ने इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर हमारे देश की मानवीय और डेमोक्रेटिक इमेज को बेहद धूमिल और खंडित करने का काम किया है। भाजपा ने न कभी गांधी जी में विश्वास किया, न कभी उनके गांधीवादी तौर-तरीक़ों में। भाजपा की नकारात्मक विचारधारा ही ‘विवाद’ की है; संवाद की नहीं। भाजपा निराशा का पर्याय बन चुकी है। भाजपा सरकार नहीं, अहंकार है! भाजपा की सोच दरारवादी है, इसीलिए जहाँ भी एकता, सौहार्द और एकजुटता होती है, भाजपा डरकर प्रतिक्रियावादी बनकर आंदोलनों को तितर-बितर कर देती है लेकिन भाजपा भूल गयी है कि आज की नई पीढ़ी ‘डिजिटल यूनिटी’ के माध्यम से वैचारिक क्रांति लाने में सक्षम है. ऐसा हुआ है, हो रहा है और होगा भी… @Wangchuk66

A serious incident has been reported from Siddhartha Medical College in T. Beguru village of Nelamangala taluk, where a lecturer allegedly proposed to a female student inside a classroom, leading to a tense situation and subsequent violence on campus. The accused lecturer has been identified as Abdul. According to initial information, he reportedly approached the student during class hours and offered her a chocolate while proposing to her. The unexpected act was strongly opposed by the student, who allegedly reacted by hitting him with a slipper. Following this, the situation escalated quickly. Other students on campus gathered and confronted the lecturer. Reports suggest that a group of students chased Abdul across the campus and physically assaulted him near a parked vehicle. The assault reportedly continued within the college premises, where the lecturer was beaten by students. As the situation intensified, Abdul managed to escape from the spot while being attacked. The incident has also led to allegations of misconduct against the lecturer, with claims of inappropriate behaviour towards the student. The episode took place under the jurisdiction of the Nelamangala Rural Police Station. Authorities are expected to look into both the alleged harassment and the assault that followed. The college, which is associated with Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, witnessed a chaotic scene as the incident unfolded, drawing attention to safety and conduct within educational institutions. Very satisfying ending! Not saying this about the kid, but the parents. If you can't teach your kids humility, patience, and manners, they turn out to be such rude overconfident lot. Not winning a single rupee will surely pinch them for a long time.

Feeling down about the world and about myself. Normal human things. I'm sure soon it'll be better. If you're down too, sending you love. I'm hiding from the world for a bit, enjoying the Boston fall months, long runs along the Charles river. I think humans are beautiful and fascinating and for the most part awesome. The internet seems to want to tell you otherwise. I disagree, but I don't have the right words for it. I'll probably do a long solo episode on Dostoevsky (especially Brothers Karamazov) at some point to help me articulate this better. I love you all.
