If you have a bug zapper up, it's time to take that shit down.
A landmark University of Delaware study (Frick and Tallamy, 1996) counted nearly 14,000 insects killed by residential bug zappers over a single summer.
Mosquitoes were 31 of them. A mere 0.22%.
The other 99.78% were moths, beetles, midges, fireflies, and the night-shift pollinators your yard depends on.
Mosquitoes don't navigate by light. They find you by your carbon dioxide, body heat, and skin chemistry. Your bug zapper is invisible to them and lethal to almost everything else.
Harvard Medical School's Zika page specifically warns against bug zappers because they may increase mosquito populations by killing the predators that eat them.
What actually works: eliminate standing water within 100 feet of where you spend time outside.
Bug zappers are 1970s technology built on a 1970s misunderstanding of mosquitoes. It's time to take it down.

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD While "archē" can mean "beginning," in the context of Christ (Archēgos in Acts 3:15), it means "Author" or "Source." Christ isn't the "first angel" in a sequence; He is the Logos through whom all angels were made (Col 1:16). He is King, not Peer.
English

@deepfern @equi7angel @DrShayPhD How? It literally means ruler of the angels, or beginning of the angels. Both of those are true. Christ created them and rules over them.
English

“If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” [Isaiah 8:20].
Everything must bow to Scripture. Every doctrine, every sermon, every tradition, and every creed.
When tested, if it does not agree with the Word of God, it does not matter how old, popular, or historic it is.
This is an important reminder for all my Christian brothers and sisters, especially these days when it will is becoming increasingly difficult to tell the difference between truth and falsehood.
The phrase,“He descended into hell” is a perfect example. People recite it like it came straight from Heaven, but where does the Bible say Jesus went to a burning hell after He died? It does not.
Jesus said, “It is finished.” Then He died. His body went into the tomb. He rested until the resurrection. He did not go suffer in hell, preach Catholic doctrine, or complete some hidden work beneath the earth.
This is why “old” does not mean true.

English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Linguistically, "Archangel" (archaggelos) denotes a "chief messenger," a rank within the created celestial hierarchy (Jude 1:9). To call Christ an archangel is a category error: He is the Uncreated Creator, not the "first" of a created species.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Hebrews 1:14 says angels are "ministering spirits." Jesus is the one they worship (Hebrews 1:6). By calling Jesus an "Archangel," you collapse the distinction between the Potter and the clay. Catholic truth holds: Michael is the Prince of the Heavenly Host; Jesus is his God.
English

@deepfern @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Archangel does not mean chief messenger. It means ruler of the angels. Archo + Aggelos = archangel.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Daniel 10:13 describes Michael as "one of the chief princes." Jesus is the "Only Begotten Son" (John 3:16), not "one of" many peers. You cannot demote the King of Kings to a "chief" among angelic creatures without violating the clear hierarchy of Hebrews 1.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD In Jude 1:9, Michael "did not dare to pronounce a reviling judgment" against Satan but said, "The Lord rebuke you." Jesus, however, commands demons directly by His own authority (Mark 1:25). A "ruler of angels" is still a creature; Jesus is the Uncreated Creator (John 1:3).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD "Archon" does mean ruler, but SDA theology wrongly uses this to claim Michael is Jesus. Greek distinguishes between the Creator and the "Archistrategos" (Chief Captain). In Hebrews 1:5, God asks, "To which of the angels did He ever say, 'You are My Son'?" The answer is none
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel Truth is not "accusation." To call out error is a work of mercy (James 5:19-20). Identifying "wolves in sheep's clothing" (Matt 7:15) is biblical discernment, not malice. We rebuke the satanic Adventist cult to save the soul, just as Paul rebuked Peter (Gal 2:11).
English

Jesus said the exact same thing as Michael in Zechariah 3:2. “And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?”
This isn’t about authority or power. This is about accusations. Only Satan makes them. He is the accuser. It is not our role to make accusations.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel While Michael said "The Lord rebuke thee" (Jude 1:9), he did so as the "Prince" of God's people (Dan 10:21). Catholics follow this: we don't rebuke by our own power, but by the "Keys of the Kingdom" Christ gave to men to guard the Truth (Matt 16:19).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel Paul explicitly commands the Church to "judge those inside" (1 Cor 5:12) and to "rebuke them sharply" to keep them sound in faith (Titus 1:13). Protecting the flock from heresy isn't Satanic; it's the duty of a faithful shepherd (Acts 20:28-31).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel Equating all correction with Satanic "accusation" ignores Jesus’ command to "rebuke" sin (Luke 17:3). Satan accuses the righteous falsely (Job 1:9-11), but Christ grants the Church authority to judge internal disputes and "bind" truth (Matt 18:15-18).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Your cult was born from the "Great Disappointment." When 1844 failed, Ellen G. White moved the goalposts to a "Sanctuary" no one can see. The Bible warns against those who predict dates (Matt 24:36); your entire foundation is a failed prediction.
English

The church is the pillar and ground of truth because it believes the word of God, not because it holds to traditions of man.
Matthew 16:19 is 100% about authority to share the gospel. We bind or loose by sharing the gospel and others accepting Christ as their Lord.
The RCC is not the church of God. Scripture makes clear that Gods church are those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. The RCC teaches its members to bow to papal authority and traditions of man. I cannot earn enough against holding to this, for fear of your very soul. “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Your "Investigative Judgment" denies Christ’s "finished work" (John 19:30). By claiming He entered a second phase in 1844 to review sins, you teach a failed Savior who didn't fully atone at Calvary. Hebrews 10:12 says He sat down "forever" then.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Relying on Ellen G. White over 2,000 years of Church history violates Scripture. "The spirits of prophets are subject to prophets" (1 Cor 14:32). A church built on 1800s visions is a house on sand, not the "Pillar of Truth" (1 Tim 3:15).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Your 1844 "Investigative Judgment" is a 19th-century invention born from a failed prophecy (the Great Disappointment). It denies Christ's "Finished Work" (John 19:30). Hebrews 10:12 says Christ sat down at God's right hand—not in 1844.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD Misusing Rev 18:4 to attack the Mother Church is spiritual pride. The "Remnant" are those who hold the "testimony of Jesus" (Rev 12:17). Jesus promised the gates of hell wouldn't prevail (Matt 16:18)—to say He failed until 1844 is a heresy.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD You claim Matt 16:19 is just "sharing the gospel," but Jesus gave Peter the "Keys of the Kingdom," a clear reference to the Davidic office of Vizier (Isaiah 22:22). This is governing authority to bind doctrine, not just a generic invitation.
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD You obsess over the Sabbath, but Paul says, "Let no one pass judgment on you in questions of... a Sabbath. These are a shadow... but the substance belongs to Christ" (Col 2:16-17). We celebrate the Resurrection, the "Eighth Day" (John 20:1, 19).
English

@Soonerborn_1979 @equi7angel @DrShayPhD SDAs claim "Scripture alone," yet follow Ellen G. White’s failed 1844 prophecies. Jesus warned of "false prophets" (Matt 7:15). You reject the "Pillar" (1 Tim 3:15) for a 19th-century sect that rewrites history to fit its own "traditions of men."
