I went flying yesterday and was reminded of a relevant lesson. When something goes wrong in the air, you’re taught to Aviate, Navigate and then Communicate ...in that order. In other words the only thing that really matters is to fly the airplane, everything else is secondary

@tomwarren @mkruz Yes, despite charts showing growing funding. Much of it goes to certain markets where parents spend much more of their income on education than the US. The market also been trained to expect free education content. Lots of investors got burned in K-12 first-go-round 5 years ago.

@mkruz I’d love to see an explosion in funding towards education. It’s so terribly underfunded worldwide, and the tech / apps just aren’t there because there’s no money. Here’s hoping COVID changes that!

With the heaviest of hearts, I said goodbye to my dad today. He died from complications caused by Coronavirus. It was devastating to not be there in person, but I'm grateful for the caregivers & friends who helped me VC w/ him in the final hours to tell him how much he was loved.
