@dpandiyan If I understand your question right - no. Not only do we have multiple providers for a site we also use traffic engineering to balance load between not only those providers but all our PoPs worldwide.

@deflatermouse out of curiosity is there a chance that a particular ip could hit the bandwidth limit?

TIL @fastly handles data in the range of 353 Tbps (terabytes per second) 🤯 i mean it makes sense given their scale. but still. where do you even start to build data centres that can handle throughput in the range of terabytes per second? fastly.com/blog/how-fastl…

@dpandiyan Some of these are a bit old but they give the general idea. Happy to dive into more details if there’s anything in particular you want to know.

The sustainability of #opensource projects is being threatened by what Simon Wistow calls the licensing rug pull. Recently, @deflatermouse discussed how Fastly is supporting the success of open source with Redmonk's James Governor. Watch the video: fastly.com/video/redmonk-…

@TeriRadichel @fastly They're just regular PoPs and an HTTP3 anycast address as far as I can see. Without any more information it's hard to tell what's going on or what's "strange" about it. Is this your home firewall? Maybe it's some untracked connections from interacting with our customers?

Once again seeing a lot of strange traffic to this @fastly ip address on my network - had to reboot the firewall this a.m. Anyone else? 151.101.130.137 Range: 151.101.10.0/16

The SF office ... hits it out of the park *badum tish*. Great evening with the team watching the Giants beat the Blue Jays in typical San Francisco summer weather. Big shout out to the @fastly workplace team for putting this together! #LifeAtFastly

When we started @fastly we defined ourselves as being "by developers, for developers" and we've remained committed to that over the years. We knew it then and we know it now: when you empower devs with the tools they need, great things happen. fastly.com/blog/its-free-…

It's #FastlyBuildWeek, and we're highlighting some of the cool things that our Fastlyans like to build outside of work. For @deflatermouse, Fastly co-founder, it really is all about speed – from helping build Fastly into what it is now to building race cars on the weekends. ⚡️🏎️
