Just because your problems aren't normal doesn't mean it's better to die.
While I do agree that it must be a tormenting life once you come to the age that you've realised your mother is a degenerate, humans are strong, and can live fulfilling lives despite that. High school isn't your whole life, you are not consigned to a life of permanent association with your degenerate mother. It's a short timeframe in the long-run.
I for one have faith in these children to redirect their pain into energy geared towards making the world a better place. I have a friend who had a traumatic upbringing and he's an upstanding citizen, the world is a better place because of him.
