Here's how Ireland won a truly magnificent gold at the European Athletics Championships. A superb performance from Chris O'Donnell, Rhasidat Adeleke, Thomas Barr & Sharlene Mawdsley 🥇☘️☘️☘️ #RTEsport

@MatthiasCordes @EmmettArmstrong If you wanted, you could use the hover media query to only hide them on devices where the main way of interacting with the device you can hover @media/hover" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web…

@EmmettArmstrong I’ll try that! How about mobile though? Should they simply stay hidden, as clicking the link to open Phone, Mail or Maps is more common?

@ScriptedAlchemy Ahh amazing. We’re in the process of migrating from create-react-app to rspack. Just have a small bug in our app after we build that we have to solve. But will probably follow the advice above and only run it in dev.

@delanebob We will add to doc site but we did mention here: #fork-ts-checker-webpack-plugin" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">rspack.dev/blog/announcin…

Working on an 18,000 module application. With fork-ts-checker, rspack takes 55 seconds to emit a prod build. Without it, rspack takes 5 seconds.. Ouch

@Baconbrix Another gotcha I had was flex=“1” (as a string) is supported on iOS. Not on Android though. The app was crashing in most cases before I could see the error 🙄 Eventually had to record it in slow motion to catch and read the error. Wish there was a consistent warning across OS.

I wonder if Yoga/React Native will ever improve basic styling errors. Always wish it would just: A. Never assert, this is more of a warning. B. Show me where the issue originated. C. Stop showing me native stack traces.

@bleedingedgeai Would love if they used this to improve their speech feature. I use that a bit to read digital epubs that may not be available as audiobooks.

Apple just released digital narration to help authors generate audiobooks using AI. Listen below. The digital voices sound just like human narrators.

@jaredpalmer One of the biggest issues we are looking at MF to help with is large dependency upgrades. When upgrading large dependencies like @chakra_ui from v0 to v1, we had to upgrade it across 10+ modules at once. We are hoping MF will allow us to upgrade one module at a time.

Give me a real-world example of when Module Federation would be preferred to a sufficiently fast (incremental) monorepo build?

WCAG 3 will use a new color contrast method called APCA (Advanced Perceptual Contrast Algorithm). It's a big improvement over the current system but there are a lot of changes to get your head around. 🧵
