I have a proposition. We increase the UCI minimum weight limit, which it seems a lot of people believe is a big performance differentiator. The powers that be can believe that they’re doing something productive to slow riders down, and factors of safety in design increase too. Onboard technology is wholeheartedly adopted so fans get a much better insight in to races as well as race organisation and teams getting live rider position and speed to improve safety. Then when everyone actually gets faster because aero bikes are properly adopted, we can finally put weight weenie-ism to bed for good. Three birds, one stone 🤝🏼

Last week we were able to resolve, for $2.25M, a case that was denied on Day 1 based on "eyewitness" testimony that our cyclist "turned into" a passing Jeep. All it took was 2 yrs of tough litigation, a TRO preserving evidence, multiple forensic & medical experts...

@ringsau Exactly. There's precedent for absolving athletes who could prove corticosteroid ingestion through a cream applied to skin. Maybe not the precedent Sinner would choose to lean on 😃

The many people claiming the Sinner case involved coverups and rule breaking by the ATP, ITF, ITIA etc, sorry but the election wasn’t stolen. The rules appear to have been followed. The one difference is that Sinner immediately could prove the source with capable counsel

In case there was any doubt, @bne_lordmayor says that pedestrian safety is a downgrade. "Traffic lights, speed humps, pedestrian crossings. Things that will make traffic go slower, they are downgrades."

@BicycleAdagio If she were hit by a bicycle courier who was weaving in traffic, I doubt they'd be so quick to urge leniency. People are really conditioned to forgive dangerous driving. Most likely as it's something many of us can empathise with.
