Who Satoshi is no longer matters for Bitcoin. That said, I agree this is the most thoughtful piece I’ve seen on the topic. It stands in contrast to prior self-indulgent exposés, approaching the topic with humility and kindness - qualities Satoshi and Bitcoin have earned.

Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy.
Read the Iain Banks Culture books for the best imagining of how it will be.
That said, what is the future you want? Amazing abundance seems the best to me.

@delmontechris @ImKingGinger Elon has always been in favor of UBI, it does exactly what DOGE was supposed to do, cut waste because there is no social security to control and defraud, it cuts government overhead and everyone can still work to earn more above the UBI.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

So @GoldsGym apparently has a policy that if your commitment period is expired, and you stop paying the month to month, they say you still owe them. This has to be a joke? They hadn’t made a single upgrade to their facility here in years. It’s gross. @CrunchGym came to town and literally drained them of their membership. And rather than upgrading their product, this is how they intend to stay afloat. Seems like a good plan. 🤪
