Upload the PDF. Run all 6 prompts in order. Do it in one sitting. The first prompt tells you what the book actually argued. The second tells you how much of that argument to trust. The third tells you what it means for your specific situation. The fourth tells you whether the argument survives scrutiny. The fifth tells you what to do about it tomorrow. The sixth makes sure you still have the insight in two years. That's a complete reading system. Not a shortcut to skipping books. A method for getting everything a book has to offer in the time most readers spend on a single chapter. Save this thread. Pick the last book you read but can't fully explain. Upload it. Run prompt 1. Find out what you actually got from it versus what you thought you got.

Top Stanford students have a secret NotebookLM workflow. They never re-read a book. They upload the PDF in NotebookLM, run 6 prompts, and extract more insight in 20 minutes than most readers get from finishing it twice. It took me 3 weeks to figure out exactly what they were doing. Here it is:

@Austen Shit take. That’s the correct behaviour. There’s a collection called recently saved that will have your photo at the top. If you really want to fuck things up then you can change the sort order of the library.

@Austen Of course metadata and original date of the photo should and must be preserved. In Library you see photos in chronological order. Like you should. In Recently saved you see photos which are, well, recently saved. “Where is the photo I just saved??” -people

@Austen You can favourite it, or search it, or add a description to it, or put it in an album/collection, or search by wha or who is in it, or search for the date, or by specific camera, or look at the screenshots collection, and I’m sure I’m missing a few.

@Austen Actually, there is an auto-sort library feature to pull those out. Works pretty well too. I didn’t expect. Plus you can literally search text of those on your phone. Also unexpectedly well.

@YashViratstan Because this film was an out and out action flick. So, it was the great stunt masters, Anbu-Arivu who directed it. There was "No story." Even the bits and pieces of story elements were copied from John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 and Con Air.
