@Sihle2025 @pmcafrica It takes much longer and the stops times and depths are not linear. The 9h ascent time was quite extreme (too fast). You don't really have to do any stops when diving to 20m or less.

@pepeller @pmcafrica The only difference is the shallow hanging (20m to surface) penalties for the different gas mixes used for deep and open water diving. Beyond that the step decompression is more of less similar

@Sihle2025 @pmcafrica This is nowhere near your open water certification. If you decompress only for 3 minutes every 10 meters while doing such a deep dive you are not coming back.

@pepeller @pmcafrica Im a padi certified master diver with more than 200 dives. That is exactly how it works. The longer you stay down the more decompression steps you have to take while emerging

SMS isn't multifactor authentication. It's multistep authentication using two of the same type of factor (something you know). In the old days, SMS was bound to a single phone, but not anymore. Technically, passkeys aren't MFA either, because they are syncable. However, they can be treated as such if the ability to use the passkey includes local authentication of the user prior to the cryptographic signing operation. (See NIST 800-63B-4 for details).

And most web devs don’t either. It pisses me off when Passkeys are used either as 2FA and/or in addition to keeping a traditional username/password WHICH DEFEATS THE ENTIRE POINT.
