The details of the Native Tree Area scheme have been released. It looks like you can get 1 hectare of NTA1 (small forest) and 1 Ha of NTA2 (riparian forest) on the same farm. The combined payment over a ten-year period will roughly €45,000 It's also open to non-farmers.

Minister @McConalogue said: "#Budget23 supports farm families dealing with the immediate and ongoing fallout of the illegal invasion of Ukraine. It also lays the groundwork for strategic supports for the sector over the next five years, through the €10bn #newCAP Strategic Plan."

🐄With the #Budget containing up to €500 million in funding specifically ringfenced for #agri-environment schemes, Minister @pippa_hackett said she was also delighted that 'the #organic sector now has the financial backing that it needs to grow and thrive over the coming years.'
