@alphafox @NEALDYMNDZ Ugh yes. I took “computer” class in college 1989. It was more confusing than any math class. I hated that class but I can’t imagine the success of the ones who loved it.

🚨 A 12-Year-Old Boy Found His Dog Shot Dead on His Own Property in Texas On the morning of May 2nd, a heartbreaking and disturbing discovery was made on a family’s private 20-acre property. Bryson’s beloved dog, Winston, was found shot and killed 84 yards inside their property line. Winston wasn’t just a dog. He was a best friend to a 12-year-old boy. “Imagine being a child and finding your companion, gentle, loyal, and only 11 months old, gone in such a violent, senseless way. Winston would have turned one this month. He had no aggressive tendencies and was loved not only by Bryson, but by neighboring children as well,” his dad said. The family took Winston to the vet, where X-rays confirmed the devastating truth: the bullet did not exit. It caused severe internal damage, and Winston suffered before he died. This was not an accident you can easily explain away. The Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating. Evidence, including the bullet, has been turned over, and there are already leads being pursued. Whoever did this, you didn’t just kill a dog. You shattered a child’s sense of safety. The family is asking for answers. They are asking for accountability. And they are asking the public to help. 📞 If you know anything, please call the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office at (361) 798-2121.

I’m not one for defending airlines from service cuts but this is absolutely much to do about nothing. 350 miles in a commercial jet takes about 60-70 minutes. 40 minutes of that is either in departure or arrival, when flight attendants don’t serve anyway. So, essentially, people are bitching about not getting snacks during the 20 minutes at cruise. 20 minutes! Cowboy up, folks, and pick up a drink or something to eat in the terminal and carry it on. If 20 minutes is unbearable, you might be an alcoholic. @Delta

@Lucyisright @redpillb0t The black boxes were not recovered, and the FBI is not covering this up. The fact 3000 Americans were killed that day make BS conspiracy theories about 9/11 particularly awful.

A man invented a $2.5 MILLION crime spree, sold it to Hollywood and charged $30,000 per speech to explain how he did it. It was all lies. > Frank Abagnale claimed he spent 5 years as a teenage fugitive. > Impersonating a Pan Am pilot, a Harvard trained doctor and a Louisiana attorney general while forging $2.5 MILLION in bad checks across 26 countries. > Steven Spielberg turned it into a 2002 blockbuster starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. > It became one of the highest grossing films of that year. > Broadway turned it into a musical. > The FBI hired him as a consultant. > AARP named him their official Fraud Watch Ambassador. > He charged between $20,000 and $30,000 per speaking engagement for decades telling audiences how he pulled it all off. > For 40 years nobody seriously questioned any of it. > Then in 2020 a journalist named Alan Logan spent three years pulling every public record prison document newspaper archive and court file he could find. > Pan Am's own security department told a journalist as early as 1978 "This never happened. You don't forget $2.5 MILLION in bad checks." > Prison records showed Abagnale was behind bars for most of the years he claimed to be a fugitive. > The Georgia hospital had no record of him. > The Louisiana attorney general's office had no record of him. > His only confirmed crime was check fraud totalling less than $1,500. > Logan's conclusion the entire story was not embellished but fabricated. > Abagnale had not committed the con by impersonating pilots and doctors. > He committed it by convincing Hollywood, the FBI and the entire world that he had. The most valuable skill Frank Abagnale ever had was the ability to make people so entertained by a story that they forgot to verify it. That skill made him MILLIONS legally.

@deplorable232 @drantbradley I love that story. I didn’t even make it to the traveling team. Pair You must’ve been pretty damn good because even those kids who traveled who were not D1 were good. It’s just crazy.

@NickSassi @drantbradley Yep. I was a very good bball player in the 80’s and got invited (non-pay) for travel ball. As I sat on the bench, I realized these are D1 players and I am not that. Even at 16, I was a realist and my parents were realists. Realistic is the key word!

@randydu55280024 @drantbradley Yep. Except I say just keep playing them all through high school. It’s a very small percentage that specialize because they are going D1, and most of them don’t, because they are crazy natural athletes. It’s understanding and facing reality!

This is where good parenting comes in. Assuming (that’s the big part) that your son or daughter is legit, tell them to go fuck themselves. Kids shouldn’t be isolating any sport at 10. Play them all. Have fun and if/when the time comes to specialize then go for it. Maybe 9th grade is that time. Not 4th-8th.

@MalianLovesYou @Jon64445712 @LibertyCappy Ha. This sounds like Biden speaking. I don’t even understand the liberal language. In my personal experience, the well cared for and sheltered are progressives. I was raised poor and by a traumatized Vietnam vet. You should research suicidal empathy.

Okay, I understand that there are people who have been incredibly well cared for and sheltered their entire lives so that the nasty Stupids don't get them. Credit to your parents. However, sometimes it's very fun to join a flock of Stupids and just sit on the ground and enjoy the sunshine like an idiot, in fact it's recommended for your health.

@MalianLovesYou @deplorable232 @LibertyCappy The IQ testing done has been extensive. It is complete nonsense claiming they don't test more than 100 people. All of the results have been the same through many studies. The vast majority of Sub Saharan African's have IQ's in the 60's and 70's. That is 100 factual. Face reality

@FrankBr05713205 @EmilyWa24215278 Man, those were great times. Sandwiches, chips and carrots/celery. We did that with our kids and still do it now as we travel just the two of us. Although we are Gen X, I guess we are the folks that get ridiculed for saving money. Crazy world!

When I was young and my parents took us on road trips, my mother would always pack sandwiches and snacks instead of stopping at restaurants to eat. They said it was too expensive to eat at restaurants and I though they were just being cheap. I just took my family on a short trip and we ate at restaurants. After paying those tabs I am now also coming to the conclusion that it is too expensive to eat a restaurants when traveling. I have become my parents and will be packing a food basket on our next trip!
