Cecil Belfield Clarke District Medical Officer & International Medical Advisor 12 April 1894 – 28 November 1970 The Barbadian-born physician. completed his medical training at UCL and developed a way to calculate the correct dosage of medicine for children aged 2-17. #LGBTplusHM

Margaret Stacey Medical sociology 27 March 1922 – 10 February 2004 Margaret (Meg) a sociologist and one of the creators of medical sociology as an academic field and a key figure in the establishment of the British Sociological Association’s Medical Sociology Group. #LGBTplusHM

Ewan Forbes Rural General Practitioner 6 September 1912 – 12 September 1991 He studied at the University of Aberdeen & became a general practitioner in Alford. In 1926 because of his command of German he became a medical officer for German prisoners of war in 1946. #LGBTplusHM
