Some coconuts, soursop etc Farming on paper, WhatsApp notes, and random Excel sheets was driving me crazy. I kept forgetting tasks, losing yield records, and had no clear picture of profit & loss. So I decided to build Furrowed 🌱 — a simple, beautiful mobile app made for small farmers like me. Today I received an email requesting a refund for a “purchase” in my free iOS app. Checked it: no charge was ever made by us (it is totally free). The transaction came from a POS system with a similar name, not Apple. Walked the user through how to identify it and request a proper refund That moment triggered a thought: the app already exists, with ~1.5k downloads. Why not turn it into something sustainable? So I shipped a subscription version today. - Redesigned the UI - Migrated from React Native to Swift - Improved performance significantly (native feels noticeably faster, no RN overhead) - Used Claude to speed up parts of the rewrite First submission got rejected due to a minor issue. Second version is now going in. Interesting how a support email can turn into a product decision

@DanielSmidstrup i am okay spending time replying. My problem is that sometimes I don’t know how to reply . Sometimes, the audience I attract is not the audience I actually want Tell me how does your app can help me to grow

@desh_craft Mainly using my own system, but it's not a magical pill that just changes things from one day to another, it still requires quite a bit of work and putting in the time doing the replies.

I built an auto-zoom screen recorder completely from scratch 🎥 Every single line of code is mine. No templates, just a blank editor, Claude, and a lot of coffee. 🤖 The best part? The entire app was shaped by early users roasting the beta. ✅ Custom auto-zooms ✅ 0 copied code ✅ Built in public It was freemium while we dialed in the core engine. But the product is fully polished now. I am officially killing the free tier today. 🚢
