A vlogger's Kashmir experience raises serious questions. He claims that the moment he mentions the Indian Army, PM Modi, or Yogi ji, Kashmiris turns hostile instantly. He alleged that Kashmiris blamed the Army for the instability and accused it of having "bad intentions" towards women, instead of blaming the terrorists. When he protested, he was threatened. At the Martand Sun Temple, locals lied and claimed it was destroyed by "lightning," not by Islamic invaders, and threatened him for recording the truth. He also found a Shivling in a locked temple where no Jalabhishek was allowed. He alleged that even a cop harassed him after hearing "Gorakhpur" and let him go only after taking a bribe.

Our problems are political, and require political solutions. The Indian Muslims of 2026 are more religious than their ancestors at any previous point in history. You do not realise this because you are living in the aftermath of Urduvi Islamic revivalism in the 19th and 20th centuries. Back then, the masses (the overwhelming majority) were barely Muslim in practice, being Muslim largely in name while remaining totally, mostly, or partially jahil in culture, ritual, and even ideology. As for the nobility, royalty, and soldiery, their condition was not much better either. A certain Muslim monarch (whom I do not find it proper to name) reportedly saw a dream, became frightened, and donated wealth to a temple to avert the wrath of a Deva. Hindu Devas were considered akin to jinn, capable of exerting real effects in the world. The pundits were held in high regard. Nawab Hyder would not begin a war without the pundits determining an auspicious muhurta. And the Mughals and their nawabs were often two steps ahead of those mentioned above. But even if they were not, they constituted only a small minority, and among them there was also considerable lavishness and immorality. Even despite all this, Muslim hegemony remained intact and dominant. Today, despite religiosity having increased to an unprecedented level and the aqeedah has been purified to a degree unmatched at any previous point in history, the condition of Indian Muslims is worse off.
