@MetaPrime001 The first half is just the standard crazy girlfriend experience. It ramps up dramatically by the end. Theres multiple things you learn by the end of the movie that are kind of subtle call backs to earlier in the movie. Politics of friend groups/relationships.

While there is a part of me that wants to celebrate this, I can’t. Typically, the same factory in China is making the knockoff. Why would I pay 4x as much for a “Carhartt” dog bed made in China when I can buy it close to cost? Brands emerged as a signal of quality. Not a guarantee of price premium.

The "$10k" Toyota is specifically made for a specific market that DOESNT exist in the US. Y'all, this truck would cost 30k in the US. It would have to be crash tested, meet US crash regs, meet ped crash regs, meet EPA regs, and then would need your stupid infotainment shit y'all pretend you don't want but constantly buy. Toyota doesn't sell it here because y'all would rather drop 50k on a Tacoma.
